Eligibility Criteria
Children with Special Needs
• Younger than six years old
• Have an Individual Educational Plan ("IEP") or
Individual Family Support Plan ("IFSP")
Birth - Age 3 with an IFSP, may enroll in a full-day or
part-day child care program
Ages 3-5 attending an Exceptional Student Education
(ESE) or Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program, may
enroll in a child care program before or after school
Household/Family Eligibility
• Broward County Residents
• Income at or below 150% of Federal Poverty Level
• Each parent living in the home works or attends
school/training at least 20 hours per week unless
permanently disabled
