Are you ready?
Some friends have benefited so much from MoMentum
that they are labellng it the signature event of
LoveSingapore. I like that and I agree. It’s the grace of God,
another indication of His great love for His Church and this
Little Red Dot.
STOP and think.
The sinking sand of secular culture. The sexual
anarchy of the Wild Wild West. The liberal
ideologies. The gender confusion. The loss of
shame. The loss of reason. The loss of meaning.
The unthinkable has become the unstoppable! How
did we, smart humans of the 21st century world,
get ourselves into such an insane mess?
MoMentum is born out of a passion to equip Christians to
discern the times, feel the pulse of society, and respond in
a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ. It calls us to think
biblically, live wisely, and act boldly so as to catalyse change
for our own good and the good of future generations.
MoMentum 2016 is our fifth equipping conference. I know
we’re in for a real treat:
• Dr Ravi Zacharias, a world-renowned speaker, author
and apologist, will deliver the keynote to set the tone and
to sharpen our thinking on the theme of God, Church and
Culture.
• Dr Zhao Xiao, a prominent economist of China, will
address the issues of Morality, Marriage and Family from
the perspective of Chinese culture. He will also highlight
trends in China and what Christians are doing about them.
LOOK within. Sober up. Has the Church of
Today lost her compass too? Have we become
so different from what God has called us to be,
and so indifferent to a lost world? Have we angrily
condemned culture or mindlessly copied culture?
Will we sensibly critique culture? Can we work
together to wisely create culture?
• Two local senior pastors will show us where conservative
Singapore might just be heading. No doubt there are
worrying signs. Amidst all that, we’re tasting a measure of
sweet success. We’re getting somewhere! But this is not the
time to relax nor to let our guard down. The battle for the
moral future of Singapore rages on. We must stay vigilant.
• Four Millennials will do a Live Chat on a topic long
overlooked. They will robustly debate the human rights
claim of western liberals: freedom to love!
• One Millennial pastor will call our attention to the ugly
attitudes and abusive language so rampant on social media.
Sadly, Christians are just as guilty. In this culture war, we
must speak the Truth in LOVE.
• One brave young man will bare his soul and tell his story
of transformation. It’s not all perfect but it is real. It is eyeopening. It is powerful!
GO be something. Be holy for God is holy.
Be the salt of the earth. Be learners of Truth. Be
lovers of Truth. Be the vocal majority that lives
and breathes Truth. Be the revival generation
that defends Truth in love. Be the godly change a
morally-bankrupt world needs to taste and see.
Are you ready? Come. Admission is by ticket only. Please

worth your time. God will be there. The likeminded will be
