Ahepa Voice – WINTER 2007
5th District Governor, Order of AHEPA
CHRISTOPHER DIAMANTOUKOS
Brothers and Sisters:
It is with great joy and anticipation that I
greet you during this magical time of year, especially as it is on the eve of the excursion by our
AHEPA Family to the Christmas Pageant at St.
Basil’s Academy in Garrison, NY. Last year’s
event was the highlight of all our activities and
those of us who attended have spent the last
twelve months spreading the joy and good feelings throughout our District. I hope that many
of you will read this message and reflect back on
our visit this year.
This year started out with a national
response to the ethnic tragedy that occurred
in Greece at the end of August with the
spread of wildfires. The devastation will
take a very long time to overcome and,
as you have heard, AHEPA was looked
to as the leader in the first responses by
our country. The efforts included a call
for Care Packages of essentials needed
by those devastated by the fires and a call
for financial aid throughout our Hellenic
Community. Our District collected and
delivered 101 Care Packages of the total of
271 sent by the entire AHEPA domain on
October 1st. We arranged a second airlift
on November 26th with 42 additional boxes
from our District.
The District Lodges of AHEPA and the
Daughters of Penelope worked together
to hold a very successful fundraiser on
September 25th and raised over four thousand dollars in one night and should reach
our goal of reaching $10,000 in contributions by the time you read this message.
This time of year has been called the
season of giving and we should all be proud
of our giving: not just for our sincere efforts
to the victims in Greece, but through all our
efforts in our communities. We have seen it
through our efforts in the Fifth District Cancer
Research Foundation, our scholarship programs, the efforts of our brothers and sisters
through their communities’ parish councils
and Philoptochos, the devotion of our brothers in creating the Odyssey Charter School in
Wilmington, and so much more.
I wish you all a spiritually fulfilling
Christmas Season, full of good times spent
with your families, and hope that the New
Year will find us all in good health so that
we can continue to work for the Good of Our
Order, our communities, and our country, by
living the ideals of Hellenism.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
5th District Governor, Daughters of Penelope
DEMI THOMAS
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
I hope you all had a very happy and
blessed Thanksgiving. The District Lodge
has had a very busy fall. We attended the
Fall workshop, the Cancer Gala, two Past
District Governors Testamonials, Jersey City
Octoberfest, several chapter visitations, and
a fun tricky tray event. We continued
the fun with Trenton’s and Cherry Hill’s
Founder’s Day celebrations. The AHEPA
Family were fortunate to attend the St.
Basil’s Christmas Party in Garrison, NY.
The children preformed a moving Christmas
pageant that captivated us all. Again this
year, we collected money from our chapters
and were able to give gift certificates to each
of the 28 children of St. Basil’s.
Congratulations to all the chapters on
their many activities and succssful fundraisers: Jersey City’s Octoberfest, Altes #163,
Zephyr# 259 and Tethys #229’s Tricky
Trays. I would also like to commend all
the Daughter’s chapters for their Founder’s
Day Programs; hosting coffee hour, memorial services, dinners, and honoring longtime
members of the Daughters.
Ahepa Voice – WINTER 2007
The Daughters held their annual District
Workshop in Wyckoff. Wow what a productive day! Everyone who attended the workshop had a great time. The sisters of the
Agape chapter of Wyckoff hosted the workshop. They did a marvelous job. Thank
you sisters for all your hard work! There
was great food, good fellowship, and lots of
information. Sister Anna Helene Panagakos,
our National Lodge liaison, attended the
workshop. Also joining us at the workshop were several past district governors of
District 5.
By now I am sure you have heard of the
effort by the District Lodges to get all the
sisters on Gmail. It is the District’s new
email system to help facilitate communications across the District. If you haven’t
already signed up for an account please do
so soon. If you don’t know how to sign up,
Sister Karen Maroursis will send a package
to your chapter to explain. Also, we will be
explaining more about it when we visit you
chapter. You can access all events taking
place in our district and nationally. If your
chapter has an event flyer, it can be included
on our webpage; please send it to Sister
Karen and she will be sure to include it.
Save the date! The Salute to Women will
be Saturday March 8, 2008, in Washington
D.C. This event along with the Biennial
banquet will be held at the Mayflower Hotel.
The Biennial Banquet will be Friday March
7, 2008. For the first time ever we will have
Ahepa Day on Capital Hill, Thursday March
6. Please come and meet with you Senators
and Congressmen. Let’s go there together to
impress upon them what an influential group
the Ahepa family is. We can present our
agenda and enter into a dialogue with our
elected representatives.
District Governor’s raffle tickets are now
available! We are raffling off 2 beautiful
Waterford Vases, an 8” Moon Dance Bowl
and a 4” Ronan Rose Bowl. Tickets are $5.
Get them from any member of the lodge.
On behalf of the entire Daughters District
Lodge, we wish everyone a very Merry
Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New
Year.
Yours in Theta Pi,
Demi Thomas

Message From The Supreme Governor
and Regional Director Louis Arvanitis
Dear Brothers:
I hope that each and every one of the AHEPA
family is feeling the spirit of Christmas and is
celebrating the Holidays. It has really been a
busy Fall, starting with the Supreme Lodge
meeting in Atlanta, GA celebrating the 85th
Anniversary of the Order of AHEPA. Other
important events were the installations of
officers in various chapters and the District’s
Fund raising who took place in Graycliff for
the fire victims in Greece. I also have to mention the two testimonial dinners for our Past
District Governors: Mr. Ted Vittas for AHEPA
and Antoinette Maroussis for Daughters of
Penelope. Both events were extremely successful and I wish to both of them “KAI EIS
ANOTERA”.
The District #6 Conference took place
in Bronx, NY. Another day, me and other
Supreme officers wecollected hundreds of
boxes with clothing and we took them to JFK
airport with the escort of Congresswoman
Maloney. I must give great credit to District #5
for supporting this important effort twice.
I would also like to mention the Regional
Conference in Tenafly. The purpose of this
conference is to create a plan to bring together
all the chapters of the Region #3. It was
very interesting because of the ideas all the
brothers exchanged. I want to thank for their
great support the Supreme Vice President
Nick Korokostas, Dr. John Grossomanides,
Supreme Secretary and Brother Constantine
Colliatzis, Supreme Governor and Regional
Director #4.
It was a great experience for attending the
initiation and Luncheon for honoring past
chapter and community President Tom Tushes
at Westchester Country Club sponsored by the
James Prevlitis Evzone Chapter #405, which
is the only chapter, along with Alexander
Hamilton #54 and Toms River #467, that
reached the quota of the 20% increase of
the suggested number of members from the
Supreme Lodge. Congratulations to both
chapters for their success and I really hope
to set a great example for the rest. Also both
districts met the quota of $10,000 for the fire
victims, suggested by the Supreme President.
The Fund Raising for the Greek Parade,
which will take place on April 6th, 2008, was
of great success. It was a makaronada dinner
with lamb in Eleni’s Restaurant. The Supreme
President was supposed to participate in the
event, but due to the unexpected death of our
beloved Supreme Governor and Regional
Director in Chicago, IL George T. Pandezelos,
Mr. Ike Goulas had to attend his funeral
instead. God Bless Brother George and may
his memory be eternal.
I had two important meetings with the
Past District Governors of New Jersey #5 for
the growth, expansion and promotion of our
Beloved Order and I intend to have similar
meetings with the Past District Governors
of New York #6. There is one more regional
meetings scheduled in late February, so our
region will remain active and alive with all
the AHEPA projects We will also discuss the
promotion of the Congressional Banquet in
Washington, DC on March 7th, 2008 and the
Supreme Convention in Athens, Greece. Other
topics of discussion will be the two youth programs in Washington, DC and the Second
Journey to Greece for the College Students
which will give them 6 college credits.
Finally, I wish to all of you Merry Christmas
and a Healthy and Prosperous 2008.

Nicholas Tsapatsaris, one of the principals

restaurants, movie theater and children’s

An important part of that goal is bringing

said. Surrounding the main glassed-in retail

including 230 units in the old Fabian Theatre

That does not include nearly 1,000 other
units they hope to build.
“With that, will be the beginning of life at

of Center City. He said the project is financially stable and that the retail space is now
60 percent leased -- an indicator that “exceeded our expectations.” He reveals only a

UNDERSTANDING OUR HERITAGE:
From Classical to Christian Hellenism
An AHEPA sponsored Talk Given by Fr. Demetrios Constantelos PhD,
D.D. At Saint Andrew Hellenic Orthodox Church
On Sunday November 11th Dr. George Diamantidis invited
Fr. Demetrios Constantelos PhD, D.D. to give a lecture on faith
Hellenism, and culture. With more than 250 children and 400
families, this community needs an immediate attention from
scholars like himself in order the future generations of Hellenes
in Diaspora be able to keep their Hellenic identity. Many of these
people are concerned with how to maintain and grow spiritually
and at the same time preserve a Hellenic cultural identity. Culture,
family, ethnic particularities, and the universality of the Orthodox
Christian faith are topics that have long concerned theologians,
sociologists, historians, and business leaders in the Hellenic
Diaspora.
He is a retired priest of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of
America, is Charles Cooper Townsend, Sr. Distinguished Professor
Emeritus of History and Religious Studies, and Distinguished
Research Scholar in Residence at the Richard Stockton College
in NJ. At that evening many parishioners had the distinct pleasure
of hearing a presentation on the role that Hellenism played in the
establishment of Orthodox Christianity.
Fr. Constantelos opened his talk by thanking our community for
inviting him to speak on a subject that he has researched for many
years. He looked forward to his visit, both to celebrate the Divine
Liturgy with Fr. John and to have the opportunity to speak on a
subject that he holds close to his heart. He explained that the community of Saint Andrew was the only Greek Orthodox Community
in New Jersey that he had yet to visit. Although many of us knew
of his decades of ministry to the Archdiocese, through his many
books and years of teaching, we all felt it was a special gift to have
him come to our community.
During his nearly 90 minutes presentation, Fr. Constantelos
touched on many of the common themes in his books and presentations. Initially, he skillfully painted a picture of identities. He
posed the question to his audience of “what does it mean to be a
Greek or a Greek-American today?
Fr. Constantelos described a Hellenic ideal that developed
through the ages. It was by no means a perfect world that was
developed by the ancient Hellenes but they always strove to
understand the world around them with logic and philosophy.
He explained how the eventual expansion of the Hellenic world
(mainly through the conquests of Alexander) and the spreading
of the Hellenic ideal caused it to come into contact with many
other civilizations. The language of the Greeks became a common language that would influence civilizations for centuries. It
was a vehicle that allowed clear and exact expression of important
ideas.
The ability of the apostles to communicate in the Greek language allowed Christianity’s message to reach the entire world.
Saint Paul traveled through the Greek cities of the Roman world

and shared the good news of Christianity. He presented Christ’s
teaching as that which the ancient philosophers had searched for.
Ultimately, Father Constantelos brought back the theme of identity and Hellenism. He made a defense of the word “ethnic” that
was interesting. He said the word derives from the word “ethos”
which means character. Orthodox Christians believe that their
faith, liturgical life, and ethos have an unbroken continuity of over
two thousand years.
Father Constantelos emphasized that if the Greek language is to
flourish and to be maintained as a teaching tool, and then a revival
of sorts is needed. This revival can only come from the commitment of individuals, which understand its importance.
In closing, we learned about the tireless work that Father has
done in education. This is especially evident at Richard Stockton
College in NJ, where there are now 5 permanent seats of Hellenic
Studies, mainly due to his steadfast efforts. We all congratulated
him on his efforts and wished him many more fruitful years. The
community should be aware that AHEPA Chapter #300 has
donated many of Fr. Constantelos’ books to the church bookstore
(where they are available for purchase) and it has been suggested
that a copy of each of his books should be presented to the Morris
county Library (to be added its already unsurpassed collection of
Hellenic material).

not the QUANTITY that matters.
Many of our sisters devote time to
the Philoptochos. In addition to supporting Daughters/AHEPA projects, they rally
around the Philoptochos major annual fundraiser: our Tricky Tray. We are proud of the
close relationship shared by the Daughters
and the Philoptochos and as is our tradition,
we celebrated a joint year-end dinner.
While we enjoyed breaking bread, we
reflected on our year’s accomplishments
and honored two 50 year members. Lillian
Boyadjis and Bessie Pappas have joined the
esteemed echelon of 50 years membership in
the Daughters of Penelope. It is their dedi-
cation, steadfastness and love of the Order
which have helped Alexander #250 forge
ahead. They truly inspire us and epitomize
the true, “Spirit of Penelope”. We salute and
express our sincere gratitude to these very
special sisters.
Accolades and thanks were bestowed
upon our out-going president, Ourania Theocharides. Ourania has served the Daughters
for many years, first as treasurer and then as
president. She not only has completed her
successful term(s) as president, she is retiring
from a twenty-five year teaching career. We
wish her the very best on her retirement and
many years of good health and happiness.
Ourania hands over the reins of leadership to
our incoming President, Anna Zavros. Anna
moves up from the office of secretary which
she has held for several years. We wish her a
successful reign.
Our chapter selected Chryssie Borzeka as
our, “Penelope of the Year”. Chryssie has been
a very dedicated worker for St. Andrew and the
Daughters. She has been an officer, served as
president and is always one of the first to “step
up to the plate” supporting Daughters’ events.
She and her husband brother AHEPAn John,
have hosted many successful fundraising trips
to Atlantic City. Now, in addition to serving
her chapter, Chryssie is an active member of
the District Education Foundation and has been
supportive of the Cancer Foundation for many
years. Honor and thank her for her unwavering
devotion.
Education is an important of AHEPA. We
in Randolph share the zeal and enthusiasm for
education as much as, or more than the founders of our beloved Order. This year, Alexander
#250 awarded a scholarship to Ms. Megan Edwards. Among Megan’s many talents and accomplishments, she was Valedictorian of her
class, a member of the National Honor society
and is fluent in four languages. Megan will be
attending the University of Florida in the fall.
Megan is the granddaughter of Sister Deana and
the late Brother Michael Borzeka.
Paramus Sons of Pericles
Haloween Party
On October 26 the Paramus Sons of Pericles hosted a Haloween
party at Biagio’s restaurant in Paramus, New Jersey. Over 160
tickets were sold making this a very successful dance. All those
who attended had a wonderful time and plans are already in place
for next year to be bigger and better. Attached, please find some
pictures of that night’s events.

Obituary for John Kyriakos Antholis
ATTORNEY, PHILANTHROPIST, FATHER
John Kyriakos Antholis died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007.
John Kyriakos Antholis served as an attorney, real estate developer
and philanthropist in Morristown for more than 30 years, and for most
of that time he was a fixture in his picture-window “fish bowl” office at
the corners of Pine Street and Dumont Place.
He was also the proud father of two sons, one an Academy
Award-winning filmmaker and the other a policy adviser in the
Clinton White House.
Mr. Antholis was born Nov. 21, 1933 to Anna Dematatis
Antholis and Kyriakos John Antholis in Oceanside, N.Y.
He moved to Washington, D.C. in the early 1940s, and as
his father sought work during the Great Depression. He graduated from Roosevelt High in 1951.
During the early 1950s, he enlisted in the Army and served
as a radio operator, stationed in Asmara, Eritrea.
After his service he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from
the University of Maryland (1959) and a Juris Doctor degree from
Georgetown University Law School (1962). He attended law school in
the evenings, driving a cab during the day to support himself, his family,
and his studies.
In the mid-1960s, Mr. Antholis went to work for the Internal Revenue
Service, and was transferred to the Regional Counsel’s Office in New
York. While there, he earned a Masters in Law Degree (Taxation) from
14
New York University Law School (1969).
Mr. Antholis entered private practice in 1968, serving several New
York firms before founding his Morristown-based law partnership with
David F. Edwards in 1976. Most recently, Mr. Antholis formed a partnership with Carey Gage in Morristown.
Over the years, Mr. Antholis developed a general law
practice, with an emphasis on highly controversial and
sophisticated tax law issues. Among many clients, Mr.
Antholis represented Resorts International, the first company to obtain a license to operate a casino in Atlantic City.
Mr. Antholis also served as president of the Parish
Council for the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of
Westfield, and as president of Greek Orthodox Churches of
the Diocese of New Jersey. In addition, he served as district
governor of the Fifth District and supreme counselor for
the American Hellenic Educational Association, America’s oldest and
largest organization for Greek Americans.
He was general counsel and trustee to the Fifth District Ahepa
Cancer Research Foundation Inc. He was also general counsel to
Salaam Temple of the Shriners of North America, where he served
proudly as a clown at Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals.
He was a member of Masonic Lodges Morristown and Madison, and
the Salaam Shrine Center in Livingston. Mr. Antholis was a member and
past exalted ruler of East Hanover -- Florham
Park Elks Lodge No. 815. Mr. Antholis also
was the founder, past president and trustee of
the Hellenic American Bar Association of New
122 Moonachie Ave.
Jersey.
Moonachie, NJ
Mr. Antholis was very active in Democratic
politics.
He was briefly the chairman of the
201-939-9233
Democratic Party in Florham Park, and was an
active campaigner and fundraiser for a series
of Democratic candidates that included Paul
ANTHONY PAPAMARKOS
Sarbanes, Bill Bradley and Michael Dukakis. He

attended the National Democratic Convention
in 1988.
Mr. Antholis is survived by his wife, the

He is also survived by two sons from his
first marriage, Kary William Antholis of Los
Angeles, Calif., an Academy Award-winning filmmaker and senior vice president of
HBO Films, and William John Antholis of

variety of goodies.
Gifts to the Foundation were presented from Canister Collections by Chairman, Gus Christakos $5,000; Bowl for Cancer

Ahepa Voice – WINTER 2007
Letter from Dr. Scott M. Kahn
I would like to thank you and your wonderful colleagues for
your continued support of our research and your admirable
work that you have done over the past years to support cancer
research.
I sincerely apologize for not being able to attend this year’s
Gala since I am in Japan organizing a major international conference on hormonally responsive cancers, including breast
prostate, ovarian and cervical cancers.
In addition, he gives enormously of his personal time to many
professional organizations, including American Urological Association, for which he has chaired or served on numerous national
committees. He also has been a member of the New York Academy of Medicine since 1976. In 2004 he was awarded honorary
degree from the University of Athens.
A special presentation was to be made to John K. Antholis, Barrister for his hard work and dedication to the Foundation. Brother
John took ill and was unable to attend, sadly he passed away a few
short weeks after the Gala, may his memory be eternal.
The annual Autumn Ball is a festive conclusion to the year’s
efforts of the Board of Trustees who meet monthly for this seri-
Along with the progress that we have made in understanding
prostate cancer, our presentation of this work at prior cancer
research meetings has enabled me to organize this specific
conference, to be held in Japan in 2009, which will be attended by world leaders in cancer research.
In Japan, I have presented our AHEPA & Daughters of Penelope supported work at two cancer centers and one cancer
research company, the reception has been very positive and
when I explain AHEPA & Daughters of Penelope support, it is
greeted with admiration from my Japanese colleagues.
As an acknowledgment of our work, during this trip I have
been asked to develop collaborations between the United
States and Japan for the purposes of personalizing cancer
care. New technologies in tumor detection and tumor analysis
have brought us to the brink of a major innovation in cancer
care, the use of genomics to guide clinical treatment.
It is because of the support of the AHEPA and Daughters
Cancer Research Foundation for our work that I have had
the honor of being asked to assist major researchers here in
Japan toward the personalization of breast, prostate and colon
cancer.
I miss being with you to personally extend my appreciation
for your continued support.
On behalf of my colleagues at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt hospital,
I extend my deep appreciation for all the work that you have
done to cure cancer, and for allowing us to be a partner with
you towards this goal.
ous cause. The present Board of Trustees are, Andrew C. Zachariades, Chairman; Steve Xanthacos, Vice Chairman; Antoinette
Marousis, Recording Secretary; Christopher Sevast, Treasurer
and Penelope Capetan, Corresponding Secretary. Board members
include Constantine J. Christakos, Alice Kartikis, Steve Lioumis,
Stathia Marousis, Evelyn Mataras, John A. Mehos, John Millas,
Thomas N. Pappas, Zacharine Pappas, William Parlamis, Rula
Thasites, Gus Theodos, Mary Theodos, and Angelica Tselepis.
Ahepa Voice – WINTER 2007
Finally, from Japan, I wish you a wonderful evening as you
celebrate the progress in cancer research that your dedication
has brought.
All my best

cocktail parties, lectures, packages to Vietnam and trips to St.

the Newark Public Library. We had a Scholarship fund that

onroe Chapter No. 75 held its AHEPA family Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, November 15, in the
AHEPA HALL of the St. George Church in Piscataway, New Jersey. There were some 60 in attendance that evening. The dinner was a traditional Thanksgiving fare, consisting

Icarius # 48
The news of the fires in Greece devastated us all. We at Icarius # 48
immediately started to collect items to be sent to Greece. A notice was
sent out to the sisters and in due time we had numerous items. Our 6
packages were sent to Headquarters and we were proud of our accomplishments. When the announcement of a benefit dinner was announced
again the Sisters were anxious to attend and help this worthy cause. Our
hosts that night were so very gracious and though the reasoning for the
dinner was a sad one it was a lovely evening. I was extremely proud of
the fact that my entire board was in attendance that night.
October was a packed full month of activities. First was the
Octoberfest which was sponsored by our fellow brothers of Hudson
#108. The mood that night was full of kefi and fun. Congratulations to
our brothers for sponsoring an enjoyable event. We then attended the
District Workshop which was informative as always. The moving from
classroom to classroom helped us to get to know our sisters as well as
gain some knowledge of our sisterhood. On the way home we made a
surprise visit to one of our sisters who lives in an assisted living home.
She was so thrilled to see us and know though she is far away she is
not forgotten by us. The testimonial dinner for PDG Teddy Vittas was
a lovely affair. My sisters and I are extremely proud of Teddy since his
roots are in Jersey City. He is and always will be associated with Jersey
City. Axios! Sister Antoinette’s Testimonial was another lovely event we
attended. She has always shared that she has felt at home in Jersey City
and we are proud of her accomplishments as our past district governor.
Locally we attended a luncheon for Father Nectarios for his Name
day. We are happy to see him back in church after his illness and wish
that his health improves. The Evangelismos Church Dance was a festive
evening and held last month.
In commemoration of Founder’s Day we held an artoclasia for the
health of all our sisters. In addition to attending various functions within
the district and our community we have met our obligation for the Cancer
Foundation. We are collected the Yoplait Lids for breast cancer and cards
for St. Jude. Our Thanksgiving donation was made to feed the needy.
We wish all of you a joyous holiday season and a healthy and prosperous 2008.

“Every day the kids ask for the newspaper,” said Polychronis, who receives the
newspaper as part of The Jersey Journal’s
The Jersey Journal Newspapers in Education
program. “They’re always asking, “Can I
have the paper?” I’ll give it to them after
they do their work so they can catch up on
current events and practice their daily reading skills.”
A product of the Jersey City public school
system herself, Polychronis also builds pride
in the school by posting articles highlighting
school accomplishments on a bulletin board
in the classroom. A recent photo spread the
teacher pointed out to her students and fellow
teachers marching down Kennedy Boulevard
to raise money for the fight against colon
cancer in honor of several teachers – one died
– who have battled the disease.
Polychronis also clips articles from newspapers for fellow teachers to help enrich the
lessons they’ve planned. For her creative use
of The Jersey Journal in the classroom to
build reading skills, community awareness
and pride, Christina Polychronis of Jersey
City has been selected as the 2007 Jersey
Journal Everyday Hero in the Newspapers in
Education category.

Polychronis started teaching in Jersey City
more than 30 years ago, first at her alma
mater, Dickinson High School, and then at
Snyder, beginning in 1978.
Since then, she has consistently adapted
her approach, making her lessons more interactive through tools such as “Jeopardy!”
– like quizzes and the use of newspapers to
meet the changing needs of her students.

with others through her teaching Sunday
school, mentoring youths and helping organize church events.

“She is outgoing, sociable and very helpful,” Melos said. “She’s always there when
she’s called upon. She is very devoted to her
family, to her church and to her students.”
Polychronis’ success, both in and out of
the classroom, derives partly from her creativity and vast experience, and also from her
understanding of the students and what they
face outside of school.
The dedicated teacher derives great pride
in seeing former students succeed, whether
they are juniors and seniors who run the
broadcasts on Snyder’s in-house TV news
program, “Good Morning Snyder,” or graduates who have gone on to successful careers,
including several she now counts as colleagues.
“When the show is on, I tell my students:
“Be quiet. I want to see my former students
in front of the TV cameras. I want to be
proud of them. You can do it, too.”
“I am proud of my students and I like
knowing they’re doing good things. Having
taught freshmen, I feel like I’m laying a foundation down for the future.”
