Ion Beam Modification of Solids and Ion Beam Analysis
Objectives:
 The materials of special interest are metals, polymers, different
types of semiconductors and ceramics.
 Investigation of fundamental process during ion irradiation of
solids.
 Effect of irradiation on physical and mechanical properties of
solids.

Modification and improvements of new materials for industrial
and medical applications.

Current Research Interests:
 Preparation and characterization of polymer blends and
composites.
 Preparation and characterization of conducting polymers for
sensing applications
