Animal Blood Resources International (ABRI) has been providing the
highest quality custom blood products to the research community for more
than 20 years. Initially founded as Animal Blood Bank, with the purpose of
providing canine and feline blood products for clinical transfusion, ABRI has
expanded to include custom blood products tailored to the needs of
researchers, whether it’s in large or small facilities the worldwide.
ABRI’s primary products are canine and feline blood components,
and are developed and collected under the company’s USDA Class R and
Class B licenses from in-house, USDA donors. The canine colony includes
purpose bred beagles and random source mongrels. The feline colony
encompasses all three blood types, A, B and AB. All donor animals are
extensively screened for hematological infectious diseases, and on-site
veterinarians oversee the health and well-being for both populations. With
two locations on the East and West coasts, we service the entire United
States and can easily provide international shipping.
