Green and gold patterned scrapbooking paper is accented with gold ribbon, beads and a mini gold ornament to create this

Gold wrapping paper
Green and gold patterned scrapbooking or craft paper
5/8-inch wide green satin ribbon with gold trim
3/8-inch wide gold ribbon
4 small gold metal beads
4 small round green rhinestones
1 mini gold ball ornament (string removed)
Scotch® Paper Cutter (for cutting wrapping paper)
Scotch® Double Sided Tape or Scotch® Pop-Up Tape (for wrapping the gift)
Scotch® Precision Scissors (6” for cutting ribbon and 8” for cutting craft paper)
Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick (for attaching craft paper)
Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon)
Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue (for gluing beads)
Instructions
1. Wrap a box in gold wrapping paper using either Scotch® Double Sided Tape or Scotch® Pop-Up Tape.
2. Cut a piece of the patterned craft paper 1/2 inch smaller than the width of the top of the box and the full length of
the top of the box.
3. Using the Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper especially around the
edges. Attach the craft paper to the box, centering the paper evenly on the top of the box

4. Wrap the green satin ribbon two times continuously around the box, crisscrossing the ribbon on the top of the box
and gluing the overlapping ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue.
Tip: Apply a small amount of glue under the ribbon at each end of the box to prevent it from slipping.
5. To make the bow, cut two 6 inch pieces of green satin ribbon and one 6 inch piece of the gold ribbon. Fold the
ends to middle, overlapping about 1/4 inch, and glue with the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue to form a loop.
Note: The ribbon measurements for bows are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly
based on the size of the box used.

6. Apply glue to the inside center to create two loops.
7. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the green ribbon loop onto the center of the crossed ribbon.
8. Glue the two gold ribbon loops, one at a time, onto the center of the box at an angle to form an X shape, filling in
the open spaces between the green ribbons.

9. Using Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue, glue the green rhinestones onto the center of the each bead on top of
the hole.
10. Glue the mini gold ball ornament onto the center of the gift and one bead onto the green ribbons on each side of
the bow.

The gift bag can be saved to hold cards or other decorations.

Medium gold or dark green gift bag with stiff handles (plain gift bags are inexpensive and easy to find at your local
craft or party store)
Green and gold patterned scrapbooking or craft paper
Gold wrapping paper
5/8-inch wide green satin ribbon with gold trim
3/8-inch wide gold ribbon
2 small gold metal beads
2 small round green rhinestones
1 mini gold ball ornament (string removed)
Scotch® Precision Scissors (6” for cutting ribbon and 8” for cutting craft paper)
Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick (for attaching craft paper)
Scotch® Clear Glue with 2-Way Applicator (for gluing ribbon)

Decorative gold metallic tissue paper
Instructions
1. Cut a piece of the gold and green patterned craft paper 3/4 the length and the full width of the front of the gift bag.
2. Using the Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper especially around the
edges. Attach the paper to the front of the gift bag, lining up the edges of the paper with the bottom edge of the
bag.
3. Cut a piece of the gold wrapping paper 1/4 the length and the full width of the front of the gift bag.

4. Using the Scotch® Wrinkle-Free Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the gold paper especially around the
edges. Attach the paper to the front of the gift bag, lining up the edges of the paper with the top edge of the bag.
5. To cover the handles, apply a small amount of Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue to a few inches of the back of
the ribbon and wrap the ribbon around the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag.
6. Continue to add small amounts of glue to the ribbon, a few inches at a time, as you continue to wrap the ribbon
around the handle, slightly overlapping the ribbon.
7. Finish by cutting the ribbon and gluing the end behind the handle where it meets with the inside of the bag.
Repeat this process with the other handle.

8. Cut two pieces of the gold ribbon 1 inch longer than width of the front of the gift bag.
9. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach each ribbon to the front of the gift bag at an angle to form an
X shape so the center of the ribbons crosses where the two papers meet. Trim the ends of the ribbon to line up
with the edges of the bag. Small amounts of glue can be added to the cut edges of each side of the ribbon to
prevent fraying.
10. Cut a piece of the green satin ribbon the entire width of the front of the gift bag.
11. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the green ribbon to the front of the gift bag so it is centered
over the edges of the craft paper. Small amounts of glue can be added to the cut edges of each side of the ribbon
to prevent fraying.

12. To make the bow, cut two 6 inch pieces of green satin ribbon and one 6 inch piece of the gold ribbon. Fold the
ends to middle, overlapping about 1/4 inch, and glue with the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue to form a loop.
13. Apply glue to the inside center to create two loops.
14. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the two green ribbon loops, one at a time, onto the center of
the green ribbon at an angle to form an X shape.

15. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the gold ribbon loop onto the center of the crossed green
ribbon loops.
11. Using Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue, glue the green rhinestones onto the center of the each bead on top of
the hole.
12. Using Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue, attach the mini gold ball ornament onto the center of the bow and one
bead onto the green ribbon on each side of the bow.

13. Fill the bag with layered tissue paper.

the top of the box.
3. Using the Scotch® Permanent Glue Stick, apply glue to the wrong side of the craft paper especially around the
edges. Attach the craft paper to the box, centering the paper evenly on the top of the box

4. Wrap the gold ribbon times continuously around the box, crisscrossing the ribbon on the top of the box and gluing
the overlapping ends on the bottom of the box with the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue.
5.
Cut a piece of the green satin ribbon the length to wrap around the entire box plus 1 inch.
6.
Center the ribbon on the top of the box and glue the overlapping the ends on the bottom of the box with the
precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the green ribbon where it
meets with the crossed gold ribbon to keep it in place.
Tip: Apply a small amount of glue under the ribbon at each end of the box to prevent it from slipping.

16. To make the bow, cut two 8 inch pieces of green satin ribbon and two 6 inch pieces of the gold ribbon. Fold the
ends to middle, overlapping about 1/4 inch, and glue with the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue to form a loop.
Note: The ribbon measurements for bows are approximate. The lengths may have to be adjusted slightly
based on the size of the box used.
17. Apply glue to the inside center to create two loops.

18. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the two green ribbon loops, one at a time, onto the center of
the green ribbon at an angle to form an X shape.
19. Using the precision tip of Scotch® Clear Glue, attach the two gold ribbon loops, one at a time, onto the center of
the green ribbon to form a plus shape.
14. Using Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue, glue the green rhinestones onto the center of the each bead on top of
the hole.

15. Using Scotch® Quick Drying Tacky Glue, attach the mini gold ball ornament onto the center of the bow and center
three beads onto the green ribbon on each side of the bow.
