for you at our Jolly Holly Party. Festivities
include a children’s entertainer, fancy dress competition and prizes, a disco and a
small gift for every child.

Bring your young ones along to the Little Elves’
Christmas Party for fifty minutes of festive fun.
All their favourite dance tunes will be playing
– and the music will only stop to start a party
game. If your children have a fancy dress
outfit, all the better – there’ll be prizes for

absolutely fine.

Christmas Shopping at Aqua Sana
This is the perfect children’s bash this party

Welcome
to the Enchanted Forest
Set in woodland near the Ranger’s Lodge, you’ll find our enchanted forest. As you wander around
you’ll discover magical things to excite and amaze - cheeky little elves working hard, Dancer and
Donna, two of Santa’s reindeers ready to pull his sleigh and Santa himself, relaxing before his big
day. As nighttime comes, the forest lights up with some extra special lighting effects.
Santa’s Woodland Workshop
Learn about the Reindeer
Guess who’s coming to Whinfell? None other than
Santa, taking a well-earned break with his little
helpers before the ‘big night’. He’ll be setting up
his magical workshop in the woods so that he can
make any last minute presents – he’ll even give
you a present to take away. He’s looking forward
to meeting you all there and having his picture
taken with you - and has asked us to remind you to
bring your letter along. A lot of people will
want to meet Santa, so we suggest you
book early.
Everyone’s familiar with Rudolph – but not
many realise what amazing creatures reindeer
actually are. Down at Santa’s Reindeer Pen, our
conservation Rangers will be on hand with loads
of interesting facts about these gentle animals.
Did you know wild reindeer gather in herds
200,000 strong? Or that their hooves are
able to splay out so they can walk over
deep snow? £9.00 per child
Christmas Pony Rides
Make your child’s visit to Santa’s Woodland
Workshop even more magical with a pony
ride there or back. The ponies are rein led and
suitable for children aged 2-8 years (up to a
maximum of 7 stones). Children under 4 years
must be supported by a walking adult. Rides take
approximately 7 minutes. Rides going to Santa’s
Woodland Workshop start at the Christmas Pony
Pick Up Point, next to the Sports Plaza and rides
leaving Santa start at the Woodland
Workshop Pick Up Point.

Christmas Carriage Rides
You can’t get more Christmassy than a carriage
ride to Santa’s Woodland Workshop. The ride will
take approximately 10 minutes. Children under
1 travel free; please note no push chairs will be
allowed on this ride. Carriage rides leave from
the Lakeside Apartments Christmas
Carriage Pick Up Point.
This activity is extremely popular so please
book early.

making all those last-minute presents. Do
you know what you want for Christmas? If
you don’t get a chance to come and visit me at
my workshop, then don’t worry, I’ve set up a
message board in the Ranger’s Lodge. Hope you
have a very merry Christmas.”

Willow Christmas Crafts
If you can’t think of the right Christmas present
for someone this year, why not get creative and
make them one? You’ll have the choice to create
your very own willow Angel or festive wreath that you can take home to decorate your
house or give to a loved one as a gift.

Our Enchanting Forest at Night
Would you like to know some of the secrets
of our forest? Join our friendly Rangers on a
magical journey of discovery, beginning at
the Enchanted Forest. During this gentle
evening walk, you’ll find out lots of interesting
things about the forest and the animals
that live there.

Lantern Making
If your children fancy making their own lantern, we’ll provide all the materials as well as a
little expert guidance at this fun
workshop.

Forest Christmas Creations
Let your bright, young creative minds enjoy
making fabulous festive Forest Christmas
Creations. They’ll root out and rustle up leaves,
twigs and other interesting natural materials up
from the forest floor. Then get a little bit of help
and everything they need to miraculously turn all they find into an enchanting Christmas
collage or beautiful Yuletide decoration.

Young and old alike go potty for our pottery
painting studio! Choose a piece of pottery from a
huge selection, paint it with your own design and
we’ll professionally glaze and fire it for
you to take home.

Festive Treasure Trail
Santa’s lost his reindeer and he needs your
help to find them. See if you can solve the clues
around the Village in this Christmassy treasure
trail. And watch out for Santa’s little helpers
along the way. It’s festive fun all the family.
Children under 11 must be accompanied by an
adult. Bikes are not included but may be hired from the Cycle Centre. We’ll meet at the cycle park next to Aqua Sana.

Christmas Family
Portrait Photography
Take advantage of being together at Christmas
time, to create stunning pictures you will
treasure for years. It’s the perfect gift for
friends and family. The sitting includes either
a 5 x 7 framed or 7 x 10 unframed print. Our
professional photographer will take lots of
pictures which you can view on the day and then
securely view on line when you return home
before choosing your favourite shot.

Festive Tasty Treats
Design Your Own
Christmas Stocking
Add to the excitement of your little ones this
Christmas by letting them make their very
own Christmas stocking. All the fabric paint
and glitter they need will be provided so they
can just give their imaginations free rein and
create a unique reminder of the festive season.
The budding designers can then take their
personalised stocking home and leave it
out for Santa – we’re sure he’ll be very impressed!

Santa and Snowman Hunt
Here’s a lovely Christmas treat just for children.
They’ll have a great time as they follow a
specially prepared trail on the hunt to find
Santa and Snowman shapes hidden around the
Village Centre. And when they’ve found a variety
of different shapes, they’ll win an
exciting Christmas gift.

Frosty the Snowman Workshop
Our Frosty the Snowman workshop is a
wonderful opportunity for some festive family
fun. With glitter, sprinkles and snow shakers, you
can make some magical wintery pictures or design an extra special sparkly gift for
the family back at home.

Santa and his helpers have got a busy night
ahead, so why not make them a delicious treat to
help them on their way? Decorate your cookie
and a box to carry it in with your favourite design
and then leave it out for Santa, Rudolph and the

Every bear that ever there was is gathering here!
It’s Christmas time and the teddy bears want
to have some fun. You can follow the teddy trail
to the famous teddy bears’ picnic, which will be
full of marvellous things to eat. After joining
in Christmas songs and being enthralled by
wonderful stories, you will be able to meet a very
special guest – Rupert Bear. All this fun means that there will be lots of happily tired
little teddy bears at the end of the day.
