Congratulations to the NPA Girls Soccer team for making it to the state semi-finals. GO SPARTANS!
Lost items Students if you are missing items please see Mrs. Schorey in room 108 to check jail. Any loose items
that are thrown on top of the lockers or on the floor at the end of the day are “thrown” in jail and there is a $1
charge to get them out. Jail will be emptied Wednesday November 2, with the contents donated to Charity.
Dress code clarification: Students, there will be no more warnings on dress code. By this point you should
know what the dress code is. I have had several students who have expressed concerns about the idea of
returning to the old dress code and it being unfair to punish those who comply. Starting Tuesday morning, if
you are out of dress code, you will have to change into dress code appropriate clothing and check in with Mrs.
Schorey for 1 week as a consequence. Teachers please dress code students who are out of dress code and send
them to room 108 in 1st hour. BTW: a shirt tied around your waist is not a long shirt. If you are wearing
leggings, your shirt/dress should reach down to your longest fingertip on all sides. Wording on shirts should be
college or NPA only. Thanks for your cooperation.
The senior group portrait will be taken on Wednesday, November 2nd, before the Jostens presentation. Seniors
will be dismissed from 4th period at 10:45.
The Dance T-shirts are in. Please pick up by the end of the day. Dance costumes may be picked up after school.
Monday, October 31st the CEC (PTO) will be kicking off the "Families in Need Food Drive". There will be boxes
located in the lobbies of both buildings to collect non-perishable food items. The drive will be from Oct. 31 Nov. 18. Gift Cards are also welcomed but they need to be turned into Mrs. Kasprzyk's desk.
Halloween Costumes are allowed, but no full face masks or painting and no blood, gore or weapons. Costumes
must be dress code appropriate—no revealing costumes.
Butter Braids are coming, Butter Braids are coming!! NPA Bands, Drama, choirs, and string groups will begin
sales of these yummy pastries on November 1st. This is our annual fundraiser which helps our groups raise
money for travel and instruments. Flavors this year are as delicious as ever. The pastries will be ready for
holiday snack attacks and family gatherings!!
ASU will be on campus today for a financial aid workshop. Interested seniors should sign up at the admin desk.
Students can learn more about the financial aid process, FAFSA, scholarships, ASU’s Free Tuition Programs, and
other resources.

A Jostens rep will be in Old Main during lunch to collect orders from seniors on November 10th.
