1. Francois 1 order Jacques Cartier to find furs and diamonds also gems. And also
Francois wanted to find a new route to Orient so his people could trade furs and ext.
2. The reason they he sent more explores because François know that there were diamonds
and gems and also a new way to get to orient.
3. The French needed a good relationship with the first nations as they need them to help
find the things they wanted and expressly with the explores. As there king order them
to get diamonds and gems so the nations knew the lands better and there for could
help the French. The Huron people were forced to cooperate with them as the Huron
people were a amazed to see how the weapons they had and were also eager to
trade with them.
