Chocolaterian is happy to work with clients on a custom creation for their event, whether it is special
items on a dessert bar, or a special dessert for the couple of honor. Please contact Chocolaterian to
discuss the possibilities for your event. Pricing for these creations depends on type of product desired
and the availability of ingredients.
Wedding favors are individually sealed or boxed for presentation.
Custom labeling provided by customer may be added to some packaging. Ribbon and or bows for packaging can be added for
an additional fee of $.15-$.30/favor.
Orders for wedding favors must be finalized at a minimum of 6 weeks before the event to allow time for packaging to arrive.

Food and Beverage Service
 If Favors are being ordered, a finalized count for favors must be in place 45 days prior to the
event so that packaging may be procured on time.
 For non favor items, a minimum of 14 days prior to the event, the client will provide the Caterer
with a final count desired quantities.
 The Client shall pay the Caterer for the food and beverages served at the event. Firm prices for
menu items are quoted no more than 90 days in advance, and all menu substitutions may be
subject to a price change.
 The Client will be charged for every bottle opened during the event. Any remaining unopen
bottles will be retained by the Caterer and not charged to the client
 Client will be charged for each dozen produced, when prices are by the dozen.
 The Client will pay for any necessary extra staff needed for the event. Chocolaterian reserves
the right to determine how many employees are needed for the event. Staff will be assess an
hourly rate of $25 per employee, beginning one hour before the event and ending one hour
after the event.
Payment
 The client agrees to a 50% deposit per the initial food plan upon signing this contract.
 The client agrees to remit the balance of the contract plus applicable sales tax within 10 days of
the event.

Catering Set Up and Charges
 Catering set up charges include set up and break down for items provided by Chocolaterian.
Deposits may be required if serviceware needs to be returned to the caterer after the event.
Cancellation Fee
 If the catered event is cancelled by the Client then the Caterer will receive 75% of the total
estimated charges for the cancelled event.
Additional information
 A signed contact must be in place 45 working days before the event occurs.
 The Caterer will not be held liable for any loss that results from not fulfilling any terms or
conditions of this Catering Contract. If the Caterer is prevented or delayed from fulfilling in part
or whole this Catering Contract due to war, riot, strike, and flood or by any other act or
condition that is not within the Caterers control and which could not be prevented the Caterer
will not be held liable. If either party brings a suit or other action against the other to enforce
this Catering Contract or seek for damages with respect to the default of above listed
obligations. The party that is ruled in favor shall be due the recovery of all costs and reasonable
attorney fees.
 This contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin in Dane County and any
applicable Federal Law.
 The Caterer will maintain a general liability insurance policy during the term of this Catering
Contract and the Client agrees to hold the Caterer harmless for any damage, theft or loss of the
Caterer's equipment, plates and utensils including any motor vehicles that may occur at the
catered event by anyone attending the event.
