City of Verona Refuse and Recycling Information
CURBSIDE (WASTE MANAGEMENT)
REFUSE – Weekly collection of refuse will take place either Monday or Tuesday (please reference the Refuse and
Recycling Map and Schedule links on our city website). Containers must be placed curbside by 7:00am (but not more
than 24 hours in advance) and must be removed no later than 24 hours after collection. Waste Management will collect
trash and recycling between 7am and 6pm on your designated service day.
Residents will be allowed to place at curbside for collection the equivalent of five thirty-two gallon containers or 250
pounds. Residents provide their own bags or bins for refuse. All items shall be neatly stacked for collection. If a resident
has more items than allowed, they can call Waste Management at 1-888-960-0008 or email [email protected] to
schedule payment and pickup of items. Due to health and safety concerns for the drivers, Waste Management prohibits
their drivers from reaching into containers to empty them.
