Getting to our place from SJU airport:
There are 3 options for arrival to Coqui del Mar Guest
House:
If you plan spend your time at the beach and Old San Juan, then
you don’t need a rental car. UBER, bicycle or the public bus (to get to
Old San Juan) if you do not mind waiting (this can be from 5 minutes to
50 as there is not fixed schedule).

1) TAXI:
Taxis are available outside the baggage area at the airport
and cruise ship terminals. Taxis have fixed rates (download the price
list at www.Coquidelmar.com/taxiprices - they will cost approximately
$20-25). IF YOU USE A TAXI, TELL THEM WE ARE DIRECTLY BEHIND

TRES PALMAS INN GUEST HOUSE in Punta Las Marias. WE ARE NOT
THE COQUI INN. UBER drops off but does not pick up at the airport.
UBER works great in San Juan. Use code trqjc for credit off first use.
2) RENTAL CAR: A rental car is good to visit areas outside of San
Juan (rain forest, Fajardo). Rental cars can be found for as little as
$20 per day. We recommend Charlie’s Car Rentals in Isla Verde, 787728-2418 They may offer airport pickup/drop off, to/from Coqui del
Mar and they price match. www.hotwire.com is good to price compare.
3) PRIVATE DRIVER: You can easily arrange a private driver
for airport pickups or other travels. We recommend two:
1) Regis Polanco – 787-473-7872 $20 plus $1 per luggage
2) Jaime Rosario – 787-692-8606 Prices vary but offers
extra amenities, such as water, even wine/cheese and crackers

DRIVING DIRECTIONS (and to assist taxi drivers):
From SJU – Luis Munoz Marin Intl Airport: (5.9 km – about 9 minutes):
Follow signs to Airport Exit. Take the A-26 E ramp to San Juan ( 0.9 km)
Merge onto A-26 O/Expresso Roman Baldorioty de Castro ( 2.5 km) Take
exit toward Ave. Isla Verde / Punta Las Marías (Calle Jupiter)
Follow
road to the stop sign and make a left onto Isla Verde Ave. Once passed
Pollo Tropical and Levi's Bar & Grill stay slightly to your right at Shell
Gas Station. Stay on Calle Laurel to next stop sign at Calle Guerrero
Noble. Make right and drive parallel to the beach on Calle Park Blvd.
Make a left then an immediate left onto Calle General Patton. Stay to
the left to merge to Calle General del Valle. 2218 is on the right hand
side near the second house to the end. Parking is limited. Please do not
block driveways. The community is gated for security purposes, so the
only way to drive in and out is the directions above. There are
other exits/entrances for pedestrians.

SPANISH VERSION: MANY TAXI DRIVERS SPEAK LIMITED ENGLISH SO
IT MAY BE HELPFUL TO SHOW THEM THE SPANISH DIRECTIONS:
Desde el aeropuerto Intl. Luis Munoz Marin:(5.(km.- approximadamente
10minutos) Siga la salida para San Juan por la Avenida Baldorioty de
Castro. Salgase en la salida Isla Verde, Calle Jupiter, Punta las Marias.
Lleque hasta el PARE y doble a la izquierda (Ave. Isla Verde). Una vez
pase el Pollo Tropical y Levi's Bar & Grill mantengase a la derecha de la
gasolinera Shell. Siga la Calle Laurel pasando por el restaurante "CHE'S"
hasta llegar al proximo PARE. Ahi doble a mano derecha. Esa es la Calle
Guerrero Noble y sigue por frente de la playa esta viene siendo la Park
Boulevard hasta llegar a la proxima esquina que es Las Americas. Ahi a la
izquierda y immediatamente a la izquierda de nuevo por la Calle General
Patton. Rapido se va a encontrar con la Calle General del Valle a su
izquierda hasta el final 2218 estara a su mano derecha. La urbanizacion
es cerrada asi que esta es la unica forma de entrar y salir en carro
