Study Association E Pluribus Unum
As the study association aligned with American Studies, E Pluribus Unum – or EPU – has a lot to offer
you. EPU offers discount on books, organizes activities such as study-supportive workshops, lectures,
conferences, excursions to the American embassy, trips to European cities, and we organize epic
drinks in our great bar O’Malley’s! The costs of membership for the study association are only 20
euros per year, which will enable you to join us on all these awesome activities. You can sign up to

All of the above mentioned activities are organized by our active members. You can become active in
EPU by joining one of our nine committees. Not only does this look great on your CV, but it’s a great
way of getting to know fellow students and to expand your professional and social skills! Being part
of an EPU committee does not take up much time, yet you will work on amazing projects together
with a group of people you will become very close with.
EPU offers a discount on the books you are required to buy for every semester. The sale for the fall
semester will start in the last few weeks of August. Once you have become a member, you will be
notified on when and where you can buy your books.
In the weekend of Friday the 8th until Sunday the 10th of September EPU organizes its annual
Introduction Camp on the beautiful island Schiermonnikoog. This weekend is the perfect opportunity
for new students to get to know one another, the board, the introduction committee, and the study
association.
