CAUSE: It has been found that the plastic casing cap may crack at the bulk head on some accelerator cables. This can cause the inner accelerator cable to become frayed. CORRECTION: Replace accelerator cable assemblies on all affected vehicles. Loosen accelerator cable jamb nuts and remove cable barrel from throttle crank. 3. Detach cable from plastic retaining clip on support brace. 4. Disconnect cable from accelerator pedal assembly and push cable assembly through bulkhead. 5. Install new cable in reverse order. 6. Adjust cable with engine at operating temperature using the procedure outlined in the appropriate service manual. 7. Install the EM recall sticker to the radiator core support above the left headlamp. TSB No. TS 11 XXXXX
