Sprinklers
Well, April Fool’s Day has come and gone. All we need now is
the April showers - and we could really use them. It certainly
has been a dry winter and from the looks of things,
Springtime is starting out the same. Hopefully, I am wrong, since we really need the
moisture. I called our maintenance company to start the sprinkler system on Friday,
April 14, 2006, waiting as long as I dared. I was still hoping for one of our famous wet
Spring snow storms.

SMHOA Website
Sun Mesa will soon have
a website. Your Board developed and wrote a
number of the pages as well as
taking pictures of our community which will be
used on the site. The pictures will currently be winter shots, but as soon as the weather warms
up, the grass turns green and the entrance flowers are planted, we will take new photos. The site
will include a number of drop down menus. You will be able to bring up such items as your board
and committee members, governing documents, information about Sun Mesa, newsletters and
pictures. I am excited over this new means to get information to all our residents. I will keep you
informed as to the website progress.
Guest Parking
The new guest parking procedure
appears to have been accepted by our
homeowners with little difficulty. The Board would like to thank everyone for your understanding and
cooperation to a procedure that will make our parking problem easier for everyone and provide
adequate space for our visitors and guests.
Cactus Rose Property
I have an update on the
happenings taking place at Cactus Rose. I
hope to have additional information
in time for the General Membership
meeting.
Things
have
changed
somewhat and I think you will find it
interesting. Come to the Annual Business meeting to learn more............
Annual Picnic
The Social Committee has set the date
for our annual Sun Mesa picnic. It will be
held at the Church of Woodmoor picnic area on July 16, 2006. A flyer will be sent out with
the particulars.
Thank you for remembering to clean up after your pets.

PETS – New Rules and Regulations
Jogging or walking with
your dog is great for you and your pet, but it
does not relieve you of the
responsibility of picking up the pets waste.
This seems to be continuing
problem and one that I feel is necessary to be
placed in our newsletter. This
issue will be addressed in the new Rules and
Regulations, which will be mailed to you shortly after this newsletter reaches all residents. I
would like to stress the importance of you reviewing the document since the Board will be
enforcing these procedures in the future.
Finally . . . .
I have a few more items that are vital information for all trivia buffs.
How can anyone live without knowing these things?
° The percentage of Africa that is wilderness is 28%. (now get this....).

the person died in battle.
If the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds
received in battle.
If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
IF THE HORSE HAS ALL FOUR LEGS OFF THE GROUND, THE PERSON WAS A WIZARD.
° “I am”. Is the shortest complete sentence in the English language.
