APRIL 1st: JELLYSTONE PARK™ OPENS FOR THE 2017 SEASON
Tie dye or ceramics may be offered on any given weekend ($).Candy bar Bingo requires a full size candy
bar to play.
APRIL 28th – 30th : WAKE UP YOGI BEAR™
Let’s start off the season with a bang! Join us to make a special noisemaker, we are going to need all the
help we can get to wake up Yogi Bear™. Wear some pajamas for the Friday night “Noise Making”
wagon ride. We will wake that sleepy bear up on Saturday to start our day. Bingo, kickball, and crafts are
just a couple of the fun things happening this weekend!!
MAY 5th – 7th: BINGO BASH
Do you love to yell BINGO?? If you answered yes then this weekend is for you! We will have all
different kinds of bingo to play all weekend long. We will have loser bingo, basket bingo, and of course
candy bar bingo. We also will be having snack time with Yogi Bear™ and a wagon ride too!
MAY 12th – 14th: QUEEN OF THE WEEKNED
We are going to be celebrating that special someone in your life. The one who deserves more than just a
day about her but will take what she can get. Kids join us to make a fun and one of a kind craft on Friday
night. We also will be having a special snack time for the ladies! Kids can play some games and have fun
with Yogi Staff.
MAY 19th – 21st: BACK TO THE BASICS CAMPING
We want everyone to enjoy our “summer camp” games such as three legged race, sack races, spoon races,
and balloon toss. Gather around the campfire for stories told by your family and the staff. Make a memory
renting a paddle boat or fishing in the lake, just dont forget your fishing pole. This will be a great
weekend to “unplug” and spent time with the people you love the most.
MAY 26th – 29th: RACING INTO SUMMER
Ladies and Gentleman, Start your engines!! Dont forget to bring a cardboard box, your pit crew, and extra
shoes for the 23rd Annual Race on Sunday. Dances return this weekend as well as tournaments. We will
be having breakfast and lunch with Yogi Bear™. There is a 3 night minimum. There is a $15.00 holiday
surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
JUNE 2nd – 4th: SCHOOLS OUT
Put the bookbag and pencils up!! Its time for fun in the sun. We are ready to get the summer started here
at Jellystone Park™ Knightstown! Join us for kickball, basketball, crafts, and a dance on Saturday Night.
We will be having a scavenger hunt for all the things summer as to offer. We will be celebrating the end
of the school year with a root beer float social on Friday night!!
JUNE 9th – 11th: MARDI GRAS
Let’s celebrate Mardi Gras Yogi Bear™ style! Decorate your bikes, golf carts, pets or yourself (if you
want) for our parade. Make your own masks, play some Mardi Gras bingo, and have some fun on our
decorated wagon ride. Then join us Saturday night for our dance with Dr. Feelgood!!
JUNE 16th – 18th: KING OF THE WEEKEND
It is time to recognize the man in your life. C’mon out to make a unforgettable gift for him. We also will
be having Dads vs kids games. New this year let’s see which guy can make the biggest splash in our belly
flop contest. Dad be prepared to show this kids how to get down at our Saturday night dance.
JUNE 23rd – 25th: SPECTACULAR SPORTS WEEKEND
Come celebrate sports biggest weekend with Yogi Bear™. Do you have a competitive side? Well so do
we!! Do you dare to step up against Yogi staff in our camper vs staff games? We also will have different
sports challenges, basketball, volleyball, and some kickball. Wear your favorite sports gear to show
support too!!
JUNE 30th – JULY 4th: PATRIOTIC PARADISE
Join Yogi Bear™ & staff to celebrate America’s birthday. Decorate your site in red, white, and blue to
win a gift card. Decorations may not be affixed to the cabin in any way. Bring a dessert for the Camp
Sunshine™ dessert auction ($). Games may include tournaments along with bingo. Karaoke and a dance
also!! There is a 4 night minimum. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. $150.00 is required for the
deposit.
JULY 7th – 9th: YOGI BEAR’S HAWAIIAN BIRTHDAY BASH
You’re invited to attend a birthday party for Yogi Bear™ that you won’t forget! Bring your grass skirt to
help us celebrate. We will be making birthday cards for him on Friday night. Then Saturday we will have
Yogi’s luau party (cake provided). Try your hand at coconut bowling and of course hula dancing.
JULY 14th – 16th: WET & WILD
Who’s ready for a “soaking good time”? All of us at Jellystone Knightstown are. If you want to stay dry,
this weekend is NOT for you. We will have our favorite Wet Wagon Ride (campsites soaking the wagon).
We will be doing lots of water activities, pool games, slip n slide kickball, and water limbo just to name a
few. We look forward to “SOAKING” you.
JULY 21st – 23rd: CHRISTMAS IN JULY
We are bringing all our winter time favorites to July!! Try some “ice skating”, snowball fights, and
making your own ornament. Join us to sing some Christmas Carols on our Wintery Wagon Ride.
Decorate your site to win a gift card. Cabins are not to be decorated. Please provide a SMALL wrapped
gift for your child, ($10 value or less).
JULY 28th – 30th: IT’S GAME TIME WEEKEND
Well the name says it all! We will be playing all your favorite games along with some you may have
never heard of. We also will be playing some things that involve our favorite sports too. We look forward
to playing singles games as well as team games. Trivia, scavenger hunts, bingo, and lots of fun is
scheduled!
AUGUST 4th – 6th: CIVIL WAR WEEKEND
Let’s go back to 1863! The Union and Confederate Armies will be encamped at Jellystone Park™. This is
an experience you won’t soon forget. Your family can get a hands on view of what it was like during the
Civil War. You will be able to see how they lived, ate, slept, dressed, drilled, and fought. We will be
having activities with Yogi still too.
AUGUST 11th – 13th: CHOCOLATE MANIA
From a chocolate slip n slide to chocolate whiffle ball we will have all kinds of chocolate fun. You may
want to bring extra clothes because we have so many crafts, games, and contesst that involve nothing but
chocolate. We also will give you a chance to pie the staff in the face, they probably deserve it. We hope to
see everyone for this sweet weekend!
AUGUST 18th – 20th: PRINCESS AND PIRATES
Ahoy!! Can you walk the plank? Can you follow a treasure map? Will gold be found? Will there be a
princess party? You will have to join us to find out! Dress as your favorite princess or a pirate for the
Saturday night dance. Yogi Bear™ will be out and about too, keep a close eye on those picnic baskets!
AUGUST 25th – 27th: RANGER SMITH’S SURPRISE BIRTHDAY
BASH!
SHHHH!!! Yogi Bear™ is busy planning a surprise party for Ranger Smith™. For the first time ever he
will be here and we are going to celebrate in a big way. Make a gift for him on Friday night then Saturday
Yogi will need help decorating for the birthday party. We will have cake and some perfect photo ops.
C’mon out and help welcome Ranger Smith™ to Jellystone Knightstown.
SEPTEMBER 1st – 4th: LABOR DAY WEEKEND
This is the last big one of the summer, let’s go out with lots of fun! We will be having our tournaments,
games, tye dye ($), ceramics ($), and of course a dance with Dr. Feelgood. We also will be rasing money
for Camp Sunshine™. Campers feel free to bring a dessert for the dessert auction. We will be having a
silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. There is a 3 night minimum. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. The
full camping fee is required for the deposit.
SEPTEMBER 8th – 10th: CELEBRATE SOMEONE GRAND
Join us Friday night for a S,more bonfire. We will be making a special craft on Saturday. We will have
some arts n crafts as well as some super fun games. We look forward to spending some time with the
Grand people in our lives. Bring your dancing shoes for the Saturday night dance.
SEPTEMBER 15th – 17th: BOO BOO’S ZOOFARI BIRTHDAY
Yogi Bear™ is very excited to throw a zootacular party for his little buddy. Join us for making animal
masks, playing zoo tag, and a scavenger hunt. We will have the big party on Saturday. (cake
provided) Come make a craft you’ll need for the wagon ride. Join us to party like lion and tigers for a
special bear….oh my!
SEPTEMBER 22nd – 24th: CINDY BEAR’S SWEET TREAT
BIRTHDAY
Who wants to join us for a sweet celebration for none other than Cindy Bear™? We are going to be
indulging in lots of sweet fun. Candy bar bingo, whip cream whiffle ball and upside down doughnut
eating contest to name a few. Saturday we will have cookies to decorate at her party as well as pin the
sucker on the stick. Dance the night away with Cindy Bear™.
SEPTEMBER 29th – OCTOBER 1st: LITTLE GOBLINS
Halloween fun is beginning!! This is a non scary weekend for our little campers. All registered campers
12 and under can join us for a free pumpkin from our magic pumpkin patch. Join us for treats in the
haystack, bingo, and how about some pumpkin bowling. Don’t forget we will be trick or treating with
Yogi Bear™. Bring candy for around 150 kids.
OCTOBER 6th – 8th: GREAT PUMPKIN ADVENTURE
Will he trick or treat us?!?! We shall find out when we search for the Great Pumpkin on Saturday night.
Until then we will be taking a trip to our pumpkin patch where all registered children 12 and under can
pick a pumpkin. We will have pumpkin decorating, pumpkin races, and much more to include in the fun.
Don’t forget those costumes for trick or treating with Yogi Bear™ at the campsites (bring candy for about
150 kids).
OCTOBER 13th – 15th: LEGEND OF CLAYTON DILLON
Have we got a story for you!! Will you dare walk the campground after we tell you? Will you sit by your
campfire? Will you visit his headstone? Only time will tell. We will be having some fun before the story
though. We have games, tye dye or ceramics $$, a craft, and more! We will be trick or treating with Yogi
Bear too! ( bring candy for around 150 children)
OCTOBER 20th – 22nd: FALL FIESTA
Join us at Jellystone Knightstown for a fall get together. We will be having upside down bobbing for
apples, treats in the haystack, and trick or treating with Yogi Bear™. Tye dye or ceramics $$,
marshmallow building, and an all around fun time are in store for you. (bring candy for around 150
children)
OCTOBER 27th -29th: SCARECROWS & SPOOKS
This is the biggest, scariest, and spookiest weekend for all to enjoy!!! Join Yogi Bear™ and staff in
making this the best end of the season party around. We need everyone’s help to put Yogi Bear™ to bed
for the season. Wagon rides, trick or treating (bring candy for approx. 200 children); arts and crafts, a
costume dance, and more activities will haunt you! Ask to join in a scary scene for the haunted trail.
Decorate your campsite to win a voucher towards camping. Decorations may not be affixed to the cabin
in any way. There is a $15.00 holiday surcharge. The full camping fee is required for the deposit.
