Welcome to the

Museum of Ohio!
The American Civil War Museum of
Ohio is a not-for-profit organization formed
to satisfy our community’s need for a
unique educational museum by collecting,
preserving, and interpreting the American
Civil War and its impact on the current
generation of American people.
Our Civil War exhibits feature artifacts,
dioramas, mannequins, audio visual tools
and informational display boards. A 20
minute video titled “Ohio’s Role in the
Civil War” is also available for viewing.
We also provide a traveling exhibit for
those groups not able to travel to our site.
There is no other museum in this area that
can offer the unique Civil War educational
experience for children and adults provided
by the American Civil War Museum of
Ohio. Through our singular focus on the
