Information Bulletin RLCF-012
This table contains carbon intensities for fuels that have been approved by the Director under section 6 (6) of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction
(Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements) Act.
Transportation fuel producers who wish to have a fuel carbon intensity approved for posting and use in British Columbia must apply to the
Director. For information regarding the process for applying, see Carbon Intensity Approvals (RLCF-008) available at
www.gov.bc.ca/lowcarbonfuels.
The Ministry has identified the need for the use of unique fuel codes to facilitate a more straightforward compliance reporting process. For example
under the new system, iterations of the past fuel code BCLCF101 are now recognized as unique and referred to by separate fuel codes
BCLCF101.0 and BCLCF101.1. The decimal fuel codes indicated below are consistent with the implementation of this new numbering scheme.
