ICA/PARACAS/NAZCA

Day 01 : City Tour Ica + Dune Buggies Tour
(Please be on the bus station Cruz del Sur 40 minutes before departure)
We will welcome you at Hotel Las Dunas and will start your first day in Ica with a city tour. We will start this tour
with a visit to a winery. Ica is very famous city for its production of high quality of piscos and sweet wines. You will
see the traditional production process at the winery El Catador. We will then continue to the Huacachina Lagoon
which is an oasis surrounded by dunes and palm trees. After an explanation and some walking around the lagoon
you will have a dune buggy tour in the Ica desert. During this tour you can practice some sand boarding and enjoy
the amazing sunset. Overnight at chosen hotel.
Day 02 : Nazca Lines + Archaeological Tour Nazca
Today you will have a full day at Nazca city. You will make a flight over the Nazca Lines which remain a mystery at
present. During the flight you will observe giant figures in the middle of the desert which represents fishes,
spiders, geometric figures etc. We will then continue with the archeological tour which is planned for you today.
You will start with the aqueducts which consist of 40 subterranean channels used by the Nazca culture to get
water. You will be amazed by this high development of hydraulic engineering. The tour continues to the Paredones
which is an archeological complex which flourished during the Inca period. It is built with adobe(mud bricks) and
was used as an administrative center to control trade between the coast and Andes area. We will finish the tour
with the gold and ceramics process, an important economic source of income for this region. You will see the
process of the extraction of gold and other minerals which can be found in this region. You will see too how the
Nazca civilization made ceramics. We take you back to your chosen hotel.

Day 03 : Ballestas Island/ Paracas/Lima
We will transfer you early to Paracas for your Ballestas tour Islands. During this tour you will see the
Candelabrum figure and you can observe Humboldt Penguins, several sea lions and a variety of bird
species on the islands. With some extra luck you may see some dolphins. After the tour we will take you
back to Ica so that you can return to Lima.

Cruz del Sur bus company has daily departures at 03:45, 07:00, 07:30 am, arriving to Ica around noon,
perfect timming for people who want to do the Nazca Lines, they also have daily departure at 13:30 y
14:00 pm.
For people who want to return to Lima they have daily departures at 13:40, 14:40, 17:10 y 18:40 pm.
The Cruzero service offers movies on board, reclining seats, wifi, air conditioning and breakfast or lunch
according to the time of traveling.

The hotel has 122 rooms which consist of
standard rooms, suites and a bungalow. The
122 rooms are all equipped with television, Air
conditioning, WIFI, cable, minibar, safe and

restaurant with terrace near the swimming
pool, sports centre, bar, planetarium for star gazing and playground for

Villa de Jazmin Hotel 3***
Villa Jazmin is a nice hotel located in the residential area La Angostura in
Ica. The hotel has 20 rooms each with ample private bathrooms. The
hotel has a restaurant, swimming pool, dry cleaning service and internet
access.
Huacahinero Hotel 3***
The hotel has 26 bedrooms, swimming pool and
restaurant, it is located in Huacachina, only one block
away from the lagoon, this hotel is near to bars, clubs and
restaurant from the area, it is the perfect place to stay if
what you are looking it is a place to party at night.
Hotel Huacahina en Ica 2**
Huacachina Hotel in Ica, is a private house located in the residential
area La Angostura in Ica. The house has 8 rooms equipped with cable
television, fan, wifi, hot water all day and lovely room decoration. The
