Banners Plus, opened by Bonnie & Stuart Dubin in 1989, was the second
instant sign shop in our area. Banners, signs, magnetic signs and graphics are
their specialty with t-shirts and vehicle lettering being done occasionally. Clients consist of Centenary College, LSUS, local festivals (have been the Revel
sign provider for many years), Malls, Car Dealerships, WESLA Federal Credit
Union, the Gentleman’s Cooking Classic and the international account of Danskin which was obtained by coming to their rescue when it mattered most. They also have many other accounts as
well as clients they work with every once in a while on small projects like birthday, anniversary
banners, etc. What they don't specialize in: Screen printing, political signage, billboards or the
electric portion of electrical signs (can do the face of electrical signs).
Banners Plus has a very fast turnaround. Bonnie’s interpretation of that is Yesterday! Your sign
can be made of Styrene, Coreplast, Wood or Aluminum and the vinyl design is perfected by computer cut-out. How is that perfection then transferred to your backing? A specialty tape similar to
masking tape, is placed over the design/letters and pulls the vinyl off which is then placed in position on the backing and transferred by smoothing it on with a squeegee type tool. It’s as easy as
that but when you’re dealing with numerous and/or large banners/signs, can be a quite tedious
task.
Stuart started on the production end of the business but after 20+ years of working together, Bonnie went back to work in corporate America so Stuart now handles production and sales for the
company. Whatever your signage need may be—Banners Plus can design it and have it
delivered—YESTERDAY!
Get Well Soon
Stuart!
They can also reproduce photo’s onto any sign or banner!
