POLISH PREPARATORY SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM OF STUDY One-Month Polish Summer School (100 hours) The four-week Polish Preparatory Summer School offers classes at the intermediate level (CEFR A2B2/C1) of proficiency. Participants are placed in groups aligned with the level of their language proficiency. There are 25 hours of instruction each week. The course aims to improve all aspects of language competency, including speaking, listening, comprehension, grammar, reading and writing. It focuses on equipping students with language skills necessary for analysis and comprehension of academic texts and for critical assessment of complex theories and terms. Participants also have an opportunity to learn about some aspects of Polish culture, such as film, history, literature, art and music. During the course, participants watch and discuss some contemporary Polish films. Additionally, they visit some places of interest in Poznań, such as Poznań Old Town, Citadel Park, and the National Museum.
