Security Clearance: SECRET. Applicants selected for this
position will be subject to a government security investigation

Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):
Must possess Five (5) years administrative experience with proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially MS Outlook.
Must have computer data manipulation/entry experience. Must be able to operate independently, also work with
others in a team environment, and share information with others on Navy/NUWCDIVNPT systems. Must possess
excellent customer service skills with client savvy telephone skills. Must possess excellent verbal telephonic and
written communication ability, as well as have strong interpersonal abilities, professionalism, must have the ability to
work and communicate with government customers, technical staff, managers, flag officers and co-workers including,
Government and fellow contractor employees. Previous inside-the-gate NUWCDIVNPT experience is ideal and a
background in government joint travel regulations (JTR) is a plus. A working knowledge of NUWCDIVNPT/Navy DoD
travel applications (i.e., Defense Travel System DTS) is highly desirable. A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
Job Duties:
Reviews travel authorizations ensuring all DoD Government entitlements are appropriate and in accordance with the
Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JFTR), and DoD Financial Management Regulations
(FMR). Process all DTS Documents following Department of Defense guidelines, Processing Manuals and GSA Airline
City Pair Program IAW JTR/JFTR and DoD and/or Navy directives and NUWCDIVNPT directives and all hands
messages formats. Must maintain current of changes to the Federal Travel regulations and changes to such. Assists
and provide guidance to Government travelers, administrative personnel and managers and in conjunction with the
Travel Office Lead (TOL) personnel. Continuously prioritize incoming travel authorizations and amendments to allow
for timely issuance of airline tickets by the Commercial Travel Office (CTO).
Education/Equivalent:
HS Diploma required. College degree a plus.
