Accomplishments:
Krysta graduated Summa Cum Laude at both
institutions. She was a Fund for Theological
Fellow in college and had papers accepted by
the Eastern Communication Association three
years in a row. In grad school she was a Turner
Fellow and named a Methodist Student of the
Year in 2013. Krysta also won an imagination
grant that helped her study the Methodist
archives in Bristol, England. In her professional
life she has been on a team for the last three
years called the Radical Discipleship Academy
of Appalachia, which was awarded $80,000
through the Young Clergy Initiative grant. She
also regularly writes liturgy and has published
parts of her grad school thesis through the
Association of Practical Theology (a Related
Scholarly Organization with the American
Academy of Religion).
