NGS mugs
Our garden has always played a
star role when I’m working on
new patterns. And I like looking in
other people’s gardens too, almost
as much as I like looking in other
people’s houses. Luckily I’m a
member of the NGS, which means
I can visit some of the three and
a half thousand gardens open
every year.

MacMillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer
Care Homes, Help the Hospices, Crossroads, The

Melamine
We’re absolutely crazy for our tough and dependable new
colourful melamine. It’s the ideal vehicle for some of our

Ethical sourcing…
We started working with rice
4 years ago. Not only do we
love
their
bright
and
dependable products, but they
are a company that give back
to the local community where
they produce their goods. rice
manufactures abroad, but is a
highly ethical company. They
have offices and factories in
India and Thailand, and
working closely with their
suppliers, they keep a sharp
eye for other people who need
their help. Last year they
worked with the Danish
Refugee Council, and this year
are raising money to send
water purifying kits to Darfur
to help familes on the run
there. In India they help a
community
project
called
Lakshya, run by the inspirational
Ramesh
Kumar,
educating street children, giving
them employment making
some distinctive recycled bags,
and helping them look for
further work when they reach
school leaving age.
We sell rice’s colourful beakers
in our shops and you can order
them from our website too. The
rainbow selection of melamine
beakers looks great mixed up
with Bridgewater in any
kitchen; we use them absolutely
every day at breakfast, lunch
and supper. In fact we like the
beakers so much, and we think
you do too, that together we’ve
produced these same tough and
dependable beakers decorated
with some of our favourite
patterns.
