Iamtheownerof‘Safari’,a2002Symbol80whichunderwentasignificant
renovationin2015-2016inVancouver.BluewaterRiggingwasamajorcontractor
onthisproject.ItislargelyduetoBluewater’scommitment,dedicationand
professionalismandqualityofworkthattheprojectfinishedon-timeandwithin
budget.
Bluewaterhadcompletedadieselheatingsysteminstallationonthisyachtforthe
previousowner.Theimpressivedetailofthatworkwasobviousandwas
highlightedbythebrokerduringshowings.Thequalityofthatinstallationgaveme
confidencethatBluewaterwouldbeanexcellentchoiceformyproposed
renovation.
DuringthecourseofoneyearafterIpurchasedSafari,AndyandTomhelpedme
design,spec,installandconfigurealmostallelectronicnavigationssystems,plus
newSatTVdomes,anewvideoandaudioentertainmentsystem,acomplete
Maretronmonitoringsystem,abilgepumpcontrolsystem,anewflybridgehelm
station,aFLIRcamerasystemaswellasathoroughre-wiringofallonboardmain
ACandDCpanelsandsub-panels.
Andy,Tomandtheirteamwerealwaysavailabletomefordesignquestionsand
changes.Theycommittedtocompletiondatesandcosts,andtheystucktothose
promisesevenwhenitmeantextraorweekendhourstomeetthosedeadlines.
SincecompletionoftherenovationprojectinJune2016,IhavecruisedSafariover
4000miles,andIhavenothadafailureofanysysteminstalledbyBluewater.In
addition,Ihavemetseveralotherboatownerswhohaveeach,withoutexception,
echoedthesamepositiveexperiencesthatIhadwhileworkingwithBluewater.
IhighlyrecommendBluewater,AndyandTomforanymarineproject,without
