isposable Cake Decorating Bag
(sold in most craft stores)
1 (10oz) bag of Dark
Chocolate Chips
1 box Red Fruit Rolls
Black Food-Safe Marker
1 bag Candy-Coated Chocolate
Parchment or Wax Paper
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Line two cookie sheets with parchment or wax paper. Place FLIPZ® flat on lined cookie sheet, about 1
inch apart.
2.Pour out the bag of candy-coated chocolate and pick out the yellow and green ones (or any other
colors you choose).
3.Pour 1 cup of dark chocolate chips into a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave bowl on HIGH for 15
second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Pour into
disposable cake decorating bag.
4.Cut the end of the cake decorating bag and squeeze the melted dark chocolate into the openings of
the pretzel. Create the ears by squeezing the melted dark chocolate into triangles on the tops of the
pretzels.
5.Place the candy-coated chocolates as the eyes. For the nose,
unroll the fruit rolls and fold in half. Cut out a small triangle,
then trim the edges to create an upside-down pentagon.
See diagram. Place in refrigerator and let cool.
6.Once hardened, use the black food-safe marker to draw the slits
onto the eyes. You can also trim the ears to be more exact with a
small sharp knife. Then peel cats off the parchment paper
and serve them to your ghoulish squad this Halloween!
