SCHEDULE OF RADIO OPERATOR’S EXAMINATION FOR
YEAR 1990
Pursuant to existing radio laws and regulations, it is hereby issued the schedule of
examinations for radio operators’ certificates and permits of all classes to be given by the
National Telecommunications Commission Radio Operator’s Examination (ROEC) at the
places and on the dates specified below:

Special examinations for the following shall be held every first Saturday of the
month starting February 1990 at he NTC Central Office or at some other
designated venue provided there will be at least 300 examinees:

Any one examination element that will qualify holders of a valid third or
second class commercial operator certificate to the next higher class of
certificate.
Amateur Radio Operator’s Certificate (All Classes)
Radio teletype Operator’s Permit
Morse Code Removal Examinations for all classes of operator’s
Certificates.
The following examinations shall be given every Wednesday starting January
1990 at the NTC Central Office:

Restricted Ship Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate.
Restricted Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate.
Ship Low Power Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
Fishing Boat Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate.
In the interest of the service and upon request, this Commission may likewise
conduct special examinations in other places and on the date to be designated
upon prior approval of the Commissioner.
B.
DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
Applications for the monthly (every first Saturday) examinations must be filed at
least two (2) weeks before the date of examination unless otherwise specified.
Applications for the weekly (every Wednesday) examination must be filed on the
Friday preceeding the date of examination unless otherwise specified.
The herein scheduled examinations shall be conducted by the Radio Operator’s
Examination Committee in accordance with the guidelines set forth in Department
Order No. 80 series of 1971 and other instructions pertaining to the conduct of
examinations.
This circular supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 12-27A-88 and shall
effective from 01 January 1990 to 31 December 1990 unless otherwise amended
or superseded.
