Minimum number of players is 5. Less than 5 will be considered a forfeit for the purposes of My Cricket. In the U11B competition, players CAN be voluntarily retired prior to reaching the compulsory retirement score of 25 runs on the condition that they must have been at the crease for a MINIMUM OF 6 OVERS, that player may return to resume their innings in the same order of their retirement until either the compulsory retirement score of 25 runs is scored and or the teams is dismissed. Voluntary retirement prior to 25 is deemed as “retired out” and not as “not out” for purposes of My Cricket results. 3. If the team batting first does not bat out the full 25 overs, the team batting second still receives its full amount of 25 overs. 4. Matches with an on/off play must reach at least 13 overs for the side batting first for the match to progress further. SC JUNIOR MODIFIED CRICKET U11B (2016/2017) 5. Time lost: For each 6 minutes (or part thereof) lost due to wet weather, or any other cause, one over is deducted from each teams innings, ie 12 minutes lost = 2 overs deducted from each team = 23 overs maximum first innings. 6. Drinks Breaks shall be taken at the completion of 13 overs. Drinks breaks shall be taken for a maximum of four (4) minutes. 7. There shall be no play after a result has been achieved. (Note: Teams may use the remaining playing time for a social match, with no further score recorded). SCJM-3 SC Modified – Bowling 1. Restrictions: Teams shall bowl a maximum of 25 overs of 6 balls each (Maximum of 8 balls in the last over, see rule 3.3). All nominated players are entitled to bowl (maximum 9 players applies). Where teams have 7 nominated players they will initially bowl a minimum of 3 overs each, following which selected nominated players can bowl a maximum 4 overs each. Where teams have more than 7 nominated players, the 25 overs must be shared equally between at least 7 of the nominated players with them bowling a minimum of 3 overs each, with the remaining overs bowled by any nominated player subject to a maximum of 4 overs per player). In the event of less than 7 players, a minimum of 3 overs and a maximum of 5 overs will apply. 2. The Umpire / Coach should take into account the size, reach and ability of the batter. The Umpire / Coach may give a new and young bowler some leniency in their first few deliveries. The Junior Kookaburra PVC Softa-ball shall be used. SCJM-4 SC Modified – Wet Weather 1. Each team must have the opportunity of facing 13 overs to constitute a match.
