The course will be held in the Learning and development building, Ida Darwin Building, Block 14
Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5EE.
Please see the notes at the end of the map which give you directions to the course location when you
arrive at the venue.
If no map is supplied, this is because we have been unable to find one we can legally reproduce. Whether
one is supplied or not we recommend you have an alternative map. We recommended you print off a

By Car:
FROM EAST (A14) (From Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds)
Follow A14 west towards Cambridge, exit junction marked Cambridge A1303. Take left lane into
Cambridge…
At first roundabout, by Airport Way, bear left - signs to Cherry Hinton, Teversham and Fulbourn. After
approx 600m turn left into Teversham village (school on corner)… 150m turn left by Rose and Crown pub –
signed to Fulbourn.
*Go through Teversham village, enter Fulbourn village and, once over railway crossing, turn right at T-jct by
Bakers Arms pub – now signed to Ida Darwin Hospital.
As road turns sharp left, turn right signed Ida
Darwin.
After approx 150m, turn right into Ida Darwin Hospital, take first right (by Nightingale Court), straight ahead
to a fork right and then left after 50m – Block 14 / Fire Zone 14 is straight ahead.
FROM WEST (M1)
Exit M1 at junction 19, following signs to Felixstowe and Huntingdon on A14. Follow signs to Cambridge
A14 (old A604)
Just prior to City follow the dual carriageway, which peels off. Take turn off marked A1303, Stow Cum Quy
and Newmarket. Take third exit into Cambridge…

FROM NORTH (A1)
Exit junction marked A14 Huntingdon\Cambridge

FROM SOUTH (A1)
Exit Junction 9 signed Baldock. Follow signs to Cambridge A505. Bypass Royston, follow signs for A10
Cambridge
After village of Harston you will meet the M11, go straight over, signed to Cambridge
Across traffic lights through Trumpington. At next major set of lights take right filter (Long Road) signed to
Addenbrooke’s Hospital\Ring Road..Set of lights at junction of Long Road and Hills Road, go straight over
and come to roundabout. Go straight over roundabout onto Queen Edith’s Way – signed to Cherry Hinton
and Fulbourn. At next lights turn right to Fulbourn on Fulbourn Road (Robin Hood pub on corner). Across
the next roundabout on Cambridge Road, past Fulbourn Hospital and Capital Business Park…approx
1000m take left turn into Hinton Road, signed to Ida Darwin and Teversham….as road takes sharp right,
turn left marked Ida Darwin. After approx 150m, turn right into Ida Darwin Hospital, take first right (by
Nightingale Court), straight ahead to a fork right and then left after 50m – Block 14 / Fire Zone 14 is straight
ahead.

FROM SOUTH (M11)
Exit at junction 9 take A11 to Newmarket\Norwich. After 7 miles turn left off dual carriageway to Fulbourn,
Teversham. Turn left towards Fulbourn
Follow road for 3 miles through outskirts of village of Fulbourn following signs for Cambridge (past sign
indicating Cambridge 5 miles) after passing White Hart pub on right carry on through village and turn right at
sign to Ida Darwin (Hinton Road)….. as road takes sharp right, turn left marked Ida Darwin. After approx
150m, turn right into Ida Darwin Hospital, take first right (by Nightingale Court), straight ahead to a fork right
and then left after 50m – Block 14 / Fire Zone 14 is straight ahead.
Car Parking
There is free parking available on site.
By Train
Cambridge railway station is on the south side of the city and has regular services to London (Kings Cross
and Liverpool Street). There is a taxi rank outside the train station.

By Bus
Take the City 1 Fulbourn bus from Emanuel Street, central Cambridge or from the train station. The bus
stops opposite the Ida Darwin site in Fulbourn Old Drift.

you are coming from and enter the venue postcode as the destination).
Catering Facilities
Refreshments will be provided by PhysioUK during course breaks. These include hot and cold drinks,
snacks and fruit. For lunch, participants are welcome to bring a packed lunch or there is a Tesco a 15-20
minute walk or a 5 minute drive from the venue.
