Bulk Greenwaste Verge Collection
Greenwaste Verge Collections are for residential properties with
a wheelie bin service only. Your co-operation will ensure that the
greenwaste on your verge is removed on time. The contractor
will only travel down your street once.

Bulk Greenwaste Verge Collection
The following items WILL be collected:
Tree and shrub prunings up to;
• 1.5m in length
• 25cm in diameter
Two trailer loads (6 x 4 trailer size, or two [2] cubic metres)
PLEASE DO:
Place your greenwaste neatly on the verge no more than
seven days prior to the scheduled start date for your area.
Place your greenwaste on the verge by Monday 6am on the
scheduled start date for your area, as the collection
contractor will only check your verge once.
Allow 5-10 working days for your collection.
PLEASE DO NOT:
Obstruct the footpath, your normal bin services or the line
of sight of pedestrians, cyclists or cars.
Place your greenwaste inside your property line.
Place your greenwaste on other verges as it will not be
collected from vacant properties or public reserves and
render you liable to a litter infringement notice.
Tie your greenwaste in bundles.
As the verge collections are picked up by mechanical means,
please DO NOT place your waste next to trees, power poles,
walls, street signs, sprinklers or water meters (as these may
be damaged).
The following items WILL NOT be collected:
Bags or boxes of leaves or grass clippings
Loose leaves or lawn clippings
Sand and soil material
Dug out lawn
General rubbish, junk or metals
Weeds or root material
Remember: please DO NOT place junk, white goods or metal
out for this collection.
Greenwaste placed on the verge more than 10 days prior to
your collection starting, or after the truck has passed, may
render you liable to a litter infringement notice.
