The vision of ar t is t Pet er Hennessey; ‘My Voyager’
is an ac t ual size model of Voyager 2 - t he same size,
shape and form. In developing this piece, Vitrabond
w a s u t i l i s e d t o a s s i s t i n t h e c r e a t i o n o f P e t e r ’s
vision not so much t o r epr oduce t he Voyager, but
more-so to “physically invoke it; to summon the
spir it of t he Voyager so t hat we might appr ehend it as
a p h y s i c a l o b j e c t ”.
