Equipment for each event will be furnished (excluding RA Racers).

 Events schedule will be included in the registration packet you receive
when you check in Saturday morning.
 Field and inside events will BEGIN promptly at 10:30 a.m.
 Field events will be held in and on the field area.
 Inside events include: Mission Bowl, RA Racers, and Knot Tying.
 RA/Challenger Field Day will conclude following the Awards Ceremony.

 Eligibility is determined by participant’s current grade-level.
o LADs in grades 1-3.
o Crusaders in grades 4-6.
o Challengers in grades 7-12. Challengers will compete in an open division.
 The church leader or chaperone accompanying each group will be responsible for the eligibility of the participants in
their group.
 Each participant must compete in his grade-level group in individual events, but can move up to the next grade-level
group to fill out a team.
This event is made possible by the churches of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and their giving through the Cooperative Program to impact the world.
RA Racers
Royal Ambassadors in grades 1-6 will compete in two divisions: LADS (grades 1-3) and CRUSADERS (grades 4-6).
CHALLENGERS (grades 7-12) will compete in an open division. Boys should make their own RA Racers and leaders will
have an opportunity to race cars in an Adult Open Division.

Overall width shall not exceed 2¾ inches.
Overall length shall not exceed 7 inches.
Weight shall not exceed 5 ounces. No loose material of any kind is permitted in or on the car.
The car may be hollowed out and built up to the maximum weight by the addition of wood or
metal only, provided it is securely built into the body or chassis.
The car shall not ride on any type springs.
Details such as steering wheel, decals, painting or interior detail are permissible as long as the
details do not cause the car to exceed maximum weight.
The car must be free-wheeling with no starting devices.
Only those wheels that come with the car kit may be used. The only sanding, grinding, lathing,
or any other reduction method allowed to wheels is to be done for the sole purpose of removing
casting marks. Any other reduction to any wheel or part thereof will cause disqualification.
Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.

All races will be run on a system of elimination by heats. Timing of contestants shall have no
bearing in determining heat or final winner.
Cars must start by gravity from a standstill, at a starting line on the track, without any help.
No pushing is allowed.
The car whose nose is first over the finish line is the winner.
If any car leaves the track on the first run, there is no contest; the race will be re-run.
If the same car leaves the track on the second run, contestant is automatically disqualified.

 Please make copies of this form and be prepared to submit completed forms upon your arrival Saturday
morning. You should NOT mail this form in.
 Duplicate this form for each grade-level group: LADs (grades 1-3), Crusaders (grades 4-6), and Challengers
(grades 7-12). DO NOT combine LADs, Crusaders, or Challengers on the same form. Each participant
must compete in his grade-level group in individual events, but can move up to the next grade-level group to
fill out a team.
