uzie Galarneau, of Sainte-Marie-Salomé (near Montréal), Québec, has always
dreamed big and knew that life had more to offer her. For some time, she was looking for the
opportunity that would enable her to start dreaming again and break away from her
increasingly suffocating routine. She chose to walk the road less travelled and achieve her
full potential through Arbonne.
In January 2013, when someone asked me, “Where do you see yourself in five years if you keep doing exactly what you’re doing?” I was floored.
I then understood a key truth: If I didn’t do anything to change my situation, I was heading right for a brick wall. My future prospects were
wholly depressing. However, I had everything I needed in life: a wonderful family, fulfilling friendships, good health, and a good career as an
insurance broker spanning over 15 years. This work that had kept me interested all these years had lost its lustre. Growing work stress tired
me out, and I often left at the end of the day with that same feeling of emptiness, along with the unpleasant thought that I had no more quality
time to devote to those I love. What made me particularly sad was that my son deserved a mother who was both happy and involved in his life,
and that I had thirty-odd years to go in this grind. Bottom line, this was a turning point in my life: I finally decided to take practical steps to
take back full control.

I was presented with Arbonne’s business opportunity at the right time, and I
instantly fell in love with it. The values of this growing company kicking off a global
expansion were the same as mine: social involvement, environmental awareness,
health and wellness, as well as teamwork. Moreover, network marketing seemed
an interesting method, as it offered freedom, independence, and the challenges I
was seeking. I chose to listen to that little voice inside me and quit my job, since
it wasn’t fulfilling me anymore, and dive into my new project. However, while I was
convinced by the business model’s potential and the business itself, this was not
the case for my husband. Despite the fact that he had no faith in my new career
move, he had no choice but to trust me until he could see the power of this
opportunity for himself. Gradually, he noticed that I was more positive, fulfilled,
and happy than before; and my growing income played a big part in broadening
his perspective!
