SUMMER Enrichment Series Schedule
Our summer series is taught by experienced teachers in a safe, supervised environment
at our five Early Learning Centers in Lancaster and Lebanon counties!
International
Family Affair Camp
June 20-23, 2016
Back by popular demand is our international cooking camp week, but with a twist.
Campers will make and taste delectable morsels that they will serve to family members
who will join us for the meal! Additional focus on meal planning and etiquette will also
be part of this camp.
Farm to Table Camp
June 27-30, 2016
Campers will learn to grow their own food from seed and will learn how the food we eat
comes from farm to our table. Self-sufficiency, plants that are native to our area, and
growing tips will also be part of our week long adventure.
Mini Masters Art Camp
July 5-8, 2016*Camp runs
Campers will explore various media and famous artists this week. From throwing paint in
the style of Jackson Pollack to creating surreal pieces in Dali style, you can be sure that
your mini master will paint the town red this week!
Cooking Construction Camp
July 11-14, 2016
Building gingerbread houses is a long held tradition, but why restrict it to the month of
December? Campers will get to build a vacation home, beach house or mountain cabin in
camp this week, and their imagination is their only limitation!
Summer Olympics Camp
July 18-21, 2016
Campers will celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics with their own math- and sciencebased activities in the classroom. Shot put, javelin and discus throw will all make an
appearance!
The Potter’s Wheel Camp
July 25-28, 2016
Campers will learn how to make, bake and decorate pottery in this week long camp, as
they look to great potters like Hosokawa, Owens, and Tsimouris for inspiration.
Survival Adventure Camp
August 1-4, 2016
Campers will learn valuable survival skills like making a compass, packing essentials,
using the sun and stars to tell time, and using map skills in camp this week. A must for
learning these life skills!
Re Think, Re Design,
Recycle Camp
August 8-11, 2016
This camp takes a fun approach to thinking about our use of materials and how “junk”
can be redesigned as art. While working on their own 3D masterpieces, campers will
learn about six modern artists who work with discarded junk and the inspiration behind
their sculptures.
“Minute to Win It” Camp
August 15-18, 2016
This is the kid’s version of the “Minute to Win It” game show. Campers will be challenged
to accomplish tasks with common items during this week of fun. Play Cookie Face, Stack
It Up, Suck It Up, and Stack Attack all in a minute or less!
Tues-Fri due to July Fourth holiday
All materials are included with the price of tuition.
Need full-day care beyond the hours of the camp? Enjoy a daily routine that includes
meals, free choice periods, outdoor time and activities and events specific to each
program based on the child’s interests. All programs are licensed and run by experienced
teachers with training/credentials in early childhood education.
