International Day Of Friendship is on 30th July -a United Nations
(UN) day that promotes the role that friendship plays in
promoting peace in many cultures. This week, the children at My
Kindy Garden Suburb will be celebrating friendships.
The Rio 2016 Summer Olympics will be held in Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil on 5th-21st August. Throughout the week, the children will
be encouraged to participate in Olympic inspired events across
the centre.

National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of
science and technology and thousands of individuals – from
students, to scientists to chefs and musicians. Our children will
be exploring different Science Experiments.
The theme for this year’s Book Week is - Australia, Story
country.
Australia has always been a country that has many stories to tell.
Across the week we will explore a few of these stories.
Superhero Week – come dressed as your favourite superhero to
raise awareness for Muscular Dystrophy and research. Please
bring a gold coin donation.
