It’s on the communion table. Christianity Explored Course-The Revs. Moore and Dunwoody will be facilitating a Christianity Explored Course in Dervock Community Centre for 8 weeks. This is starting on Tuesday 31 st January at 7:30pm. It’s for anyone and everyone. If you’re a Christian or not! No question is considered wrong! Please come along, encourage your friends to come along and please pray for the course. If you missed last week, please come along this week. Communicant Enquiry Classes-Have you recently become a Christian, or been one for some time? A new series of communicant enquiry classes will be commencing in March. If interested, please speak to Rev. Moore. He must know soon. Classes will be beginning in March to allow for the Easter holidays in April. Midweek Bible study and Prayer-Session has decided that during the Christianity Explored Course that Midweek won’t meet. You are invited to come along on Tuesday nights instead. Technical-Thank you to those of you who attended training for operating the audio-visual equipment in the meeting House. If you would like to be involved in this new work, please see Mr. Harold Irwin. It is hoped that not only will the PowerPoint facility be used every week, but that DVDs will be produced of the services to be distributed to those who cannot get out to church. Maybe you are someone who can deliver 1 or 2 DVDs every week? Youth Club-Following the safe arrival of baby Richmond, John and JulieAnne need more volunteers to help with youth club on Friday nights. Crèche Facility-From now on, there will be a crèche facility in the Minister’s room during the morning service. Please don’t feel you cannot come to church if your little one makes noise. There is a box of toys on in the room and the service is relayed through the screen, so you don’t miss out. All babies must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. Thank you! Box for Smiles- Following a very good and moving presentation by Barbara Morrison at our Wednesday Fellowship, there will be a small box in the vestibule for anyone who would like to donate blankets or decent clothing towards the people who benefit from Smiles in Romania. Dervock Presbyterian Ladies –Community Arts/Visual Arts-Next session Monday 6th March and final Thursday 23rd March, both 7-9.30pm important session working on panels with theme “Landmarks” Dervock. We have had good numbers and many visitors but still time for more members of church and community to come along. Calling all knitters! Wooly hats, scarves and gloves would be gladly received and passed onto Colin Jenkins, Seamen Christian Friends Society (Cork). Colin can give up to 100 wooly hats away on a daily basis.
