Tasting Station and Winery Information
We would like to cordially invite you to participate in this year’s A Taste of December as a gourmet tasting
station. This free opportunity will allow you to market your products and brand to a local and receptive audience.
About the event:
The 4th-annual A Taste of December will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 6:30pm – 10pm at
the Sacramento Marriott Rancho Cordova. This evening event, dedicated to building a strong community for
families and youth, will feature live music and entertainment, a silent auction and delectable tastings from the
finest local restaurants and wineries. An evening of gourmet delights, A Taste of December will bring together
like-minded community leaders and socially conscious businesses to foster support and raise money for the
Folsom Cordova Community Partnership.
About participation as a tasting station:
As a tasting station, you agree to:

Provide limited pre-event marketing, including use of info cards in bill presenters and optional display of posters.
Provide tastings for 300 guests at the “A Taste of December – 2009,” including menu selection of your
choice, chafing dishes (as needed), disposable plates or ramekins, disposable silverware (as needed), serving
utensils, and napkins.
Deliver tastings and set-up the tasting station between 4:30-6:30 PM on Thursday, December 17, 2009. (You
are welcome to bring table decorations.)
Provide at least one server to staff the tasting station from 6:30-9:00PM on December 17, 2009.
Optional: Provide one bottle of wine or gift card in the denomination of your choice to be used as part of a
silent auction gift package.

Wine glass and butler tray to each guest
One table and a basic linen
2 complimentary tickets to the event
Wine discard bucket for each table (as appropriate)
Company signage displayed at the event
Emcee recognition
Name, address, and 2 sentence marketing in event program

Company name included in pre-event advertisement
Acknowledgement in post-event newsletter
Optional Opportunity for Wineries:
2009 will be our second year for our A Taste of December Wine Sale. If you would like to participate by selling
your bottled wine between 9-10 p.m. for event guests to take home and support the Folsom Cordova Community
Partnership by donating 25% of the profits for the evening, please check the “Yes” box on the following page.
