Teaching pedagogy
I am comfortable with a variety of teaching pedagogy. For example, I have been teaching a Web
based credit course in organizational behaviour for the past 15 years. I have taught other types of
distance education courses: a) I have been teaching a human resource management course via
teleconference and correspondence since 1993; b) I have also been teaching an organizational
behaviour course by correspondence and teleconference since 1992. Once a year for the past five
years, I have been engaged by the Asia Pacific International University to teach a weekend course in
human resource management for their Executive MBA program in Vancouver. My in-class teachings
are highly interactive involving experiential exercises, video presentations, case analysis, and research
projects and presentations led by students. Finally, I have taught live classes through Video
Conference technology linking Canada and the UK.
