Today, the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works

is owned by the County of Bucks and is operated
as a “working history” museum by the Department
of Parks and Recreation, Division of Historic
Properties.
Our purpose is to preserve, collect,
and interpret the significance of this National Historic Landmark. Since 1974, tile production has

made in a manner similar to those originally created
by Mercer. The Tile Works maintains a vast historic collection of original tiles, plaster molds, tilemaking tools, drawings, records and documents that

American Arts and Crafts Movement.
