Objective: Students can describe the parts and function of a compound microscope and recognize the
importance of this tool in learning about living things.
Monday: Continue discussion/exploration of the microscope. Students will prepare to earn their “microscope
license” and demonstrate the proper use of the device.

Social Studies
Objective: Students will demonstrate understanding of Ancient Greece’s contribution to society today.
Monday: Finish Ancient World Biography presentations; decide on awards. Introduce Ancient Greeks.
Tuesday: Discuss chapter 4, section 1. Compare and contrast Sparta and Athens.
Thursday: Discuss section 2, mythology.
Bible:
Objective: Students will defend biblical view of marriage vs. worldly view of marriage/divorce. Students will
study God’s provision for Adam and Eve. Students will recognize the purpose of God’s restrictions and
restrictions put on our lives.
Monday: Having studied up through Creation and the Fall of Sin, the students will now have their first Biblical
Worldview vs. American Worldview debate. Students will list reasons why people fight for same­sex
marriages and divorces and what a biblical worldview says about this.
Tuesday: OT #11 Provision of Coverings. Adam names Eve because she will be the mother of living things­
trust shows that they have faith in new life.
Thursday: OT #12­ God banished Adam and Eve from the garden. Why? Is banishment a good thing? How
was God showing His love through this act?

We hear many things on the news today, but what does God say through His world?
Tell your parent about what you have learned, including biblical references, take notes
as your journal, also any questions that you may still have, and discuss with your parent.
Then, your parent needs to write what they learned from you(this can by bullet points)
Parent Responsibilities: This is an interactive assignment between you and your child,
please allow them to teach you, and lead them in areas where they still have questions
