Fourth Grade Fridge Facts
*We will be interpreting poems and determining the
theme. We will have a summative on Wednesday.
We will then begin discussing idioms, adages, and
proverbs.

*Test on Friday
*We are learning to reduce fractions to simplest form
by finding the Greatest Common Factor of two or
more numbers. We will also be learning to make
equivalent fractions by multiplying and dividing.
Word of
the Week
Mis- prefix: wrong/bad
*Students will have to be able to figure out the
meaning of unknown words based on the prefix.
*We will be preparing for our animal research.
Students need books by Friday if they do not already
have one. We will be discussing questions, quoting
and paraphrasing, and note taking.
*We are working on the Schematic Diagram as
engineers. Your student brought home a family letter
with a request and a vocabulary sheet - test on
Thurs., Feb. 16.
Notes
*WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF DRY ERASE
MARKERS. I have already used this year’s supply of
markers, and we will be needing them until the end of
the year. Please make sure that your child has dry
erase markers to use in math.
