Note: Please see page 58 of the KX-TVA V2.1 Feature manual for information on this upgrade.
If your TVA is not currently at V2.0 please upgrade to V2.0 before proceeding.
Data Files Required:

TVA200 - Main program - SystemProgram200 (v2.58bUS).bkp
TVA50 - Main program - SystemProgram50(v2.58bUS).bkp
Procedure: Install new PC Maintenance Console
Download the “KXTVASetupVer2.042R01_Dealer.exe” file to your laptop or PC. Double-click
the executable file to install the new PC Utility. Follow the on-screen prompts to load the
program to the appropriate folders. To verify that the correct version has been installed, open the
Programming Tool go to Help and About. You should see the following screen.

Procedure: Upgrading System Program
You must restore the new program (Main) using the new Ver.2.0 PC Maintenance Console
software at this time.
Go to Utility - System Backup - restore the backup data
On the next screen click the button for “System Program”
At the bottom of the screen, find “System restore file:” and using the “browse” button find the
Main Program and select RESTORE.
Follow the on-screen prompts until you see “System Restore Completed” and select OK.
After the file is loaded, you will be prompted to ‘Execute Restart System’.
Close the System Restore screen and go to; Utility- System Initialize/Restart and select the Restart System option.
Follow the on-screen prompts to restart.
