Decomposer
This is an organism that breaks down and gains
nutrients from dead organisms.
Defense

Development
This is the process that organisms undergo

and differentiation.
Diaphragm
This is a sheet of internal skeletal muscle that
extends across the bottom of the thoracic cavity. It
separates the thoracic cavity containing the heart
and lungs, from the abdominal cavity and performs
an important function in respiration: as the

cavity increases and air is drawn into the lungs.
Differentiated Cells
These are cells which have become modified and
specialized within an organism.
Digestive System
This system prepares food for cellular utilization.
