Holy See Press Office Communiqué: Establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic
of the Union of Myanmar and the Holy See
The Holy See and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, keen to promote bonds of mutual friendship, have
jointly agreed to establish diplomatic relations at the level of Apostolic Nunciature, on behalf of the Holy See, and
Embassy, on the part of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
