Day One: Seattle to Chicago
The fun begins with a quick flight to the
windy city. Upon your arrival at the
Chicago airport, meet your vacation
manager and transfer to your downtown
hotel. Tonight, you’ll gather to meet your

Dinner.

Day Two: North Shore / History
Museum
Join your local guide today as you tour
such northern Chicago landmarks as:
Water Tower, The Magnificent Mile, John

Learn of the

the 1930’s when Al

Day Four: Cantigny Park / Art Institute
This morning you’ll tour Cantigny Park.
The 500-acre grounds were formerly the
property of Col. Robert McCormick,
editor of the
Chicago Tribune
and a veteran of
the 1st Infantry
Division. The park
includes 10 acres
of formal gardens,
wooded walks and
museums. Tour
the 1st Division
Museum honoring the U.S. Army’s 1st
Infantry Division, with units dating from
1776. This afternoon visit the Art Institute
of Chicago, one of the best art museums
in the world. Marvel at the Impressionist
Gallery, the George Harding Collection of
rooms.

Day Five: Free Day
This day is free for you to explore this city
on your own. You may wish to shop on
Michigan Avenue, take an architectural
walking tour of the Loop, or visit the
Museum of Science & Industry, the Adler
Planetarium, or Shedd Aquarium. Your
vacation manager will be happy to make
arrangements for you.

Day Six: Willis Tower / The Loop / Navy
Pier / River Cruise
Tour the downtown Loop area. Ascend to
the top of the Willis (formerly Sears)
Tower, at 1450 feet, the largest building in
North America. See famous State Street
with its Marshall Fields Store, pass by the
Loop's many sculptures, and view the
famous commodities trading floor at the
Board of Trade. In the afternoon enjoy a
fully narrated Architectural Cruise of the
Chicago River. Learn about such landmarks
as the Wrigley
Building,
Tribune
Tower, and
Merchandise
Mart. Tonight,
reminisce over
your Farewell
