The I Believe in Love Project is a movement of young adults working to rewrite the story of love in America. Using the power of storytelling, creative expression, and social media, iBiL writers and story editors are setting out to make lasting love, marriage, and stable family life possible for themselves, their children, and their peers. More information about our project can be found here. We’re currently looking for individuals who would like to be story editors. Here’s what it takes to be a story editor: A desire to help the marriage culture in America. An openness to share your story of family, love, and commitment on the website and in conversation. A willingness to accompany a young adult through a journey of learning more about love. Story editors for iBiL will be trained in their local area regarding how to: Reach young adults on the margins who are looking for a better way to do love and relationships. Create a culture of mercy in conversations and relationships. Write and edit stories for www.ibelieveinlove.com. Accepted applicants will make an 18-month commitment to the iBiL program. The time commitment will be: 2 meetings a month with a writer, with each meeting lasting about 2-3 hours. A few hours of online work. Story editors and writers are given modest stipends for their participation at iBiL (between $35-$50 per article they write or edit) Story editors will also be given on-going support from the iBiL national and regional teams.
