Dear Passengers,
A mentor of mine asked me this question about a week ago. “If you could change one thing in your business life, what would that be?”
I thought about it all weekend, and just now came up with my answer.
I wish every single member would come to the Road Rally this coming November 5th-9th. Why? Because the members who come to the Road Rally are
invariably among our most successful. They may not come that way, but they certainly leave armed with all kinds of tools that help them become successful
sooner.
Even though we bring so many opportunities right to your computer, many of you tell me that you feel that you're operating in somewhat of a vacuum. There are
so many ah-ha moments at the Rally you won't be able to write them down fast enough. Without these golden nuggets of wisdom, or should I say gems, you might
be operating on what you THINK the music industry is all about.
When you come to the Rally, I can promise you that you'll go home armed with so much more knowledge that you'll regret that you've never come before.
We're still six months out and just starting to plan the various panels and classes, but I'm going to share something with you. I've been making a little list of things
I think you would want to know. I know you don't want to sit in a ballroom and listen to a bunch of suits telling you how great they are.
You want to know how YOU can become great.

I know the economy sucks. I know you're being super careful with your money right now. But you've also been hearing the prognosticators saying things are
going to start picking up near the end of this year, right?
Well, the Rally is FREE, and November 5th-9th is pretty near the end of the year - just when the economy is predicted to begin heading in a Northerly direction
again. All you need to do right now is simply mark the dates on your calendar. I'll keep you in the loop as things develop. Go mark your calendar now, and if you
can save ten or fifteen bucks a week until then, you'll be well on your way to the event people regularly call “life changing.”

CRITIQUES
If you have material you would like critiqued without responding to a specific listing, you’ve come to the right place. Fill out the submission form with the song
title(s) and author(s) as usual, but in place of the listing number write “CUSTOM” in capital letters.
Please include a note specifying the aspects you would like the listener to address. For example, some members like to have their craft (lyrics, rhyme, structure,
etc.) closely critiqued. Others want to know for which genre their writing is best suited (sorry, but we can’t recommend specific listings for you to pitch to). Still
others want a review of their photos, bios, package, etc.
The submission fee for Custom Critiques is $20 per song. Please include lyric sheets (if applicable), a self-addressed, stamped envelope, and make sure to specify
if you want the tape or CD back, or just a critique. Remember, these critiques are for your own edification and development and NOT targeted for a label or
publisher, and therefore will not be forwarded.
