Characteristics/Attributes:
Create analogies –
Guide students in using the word mass to create a sentence
that demonstrates the relationship between the words in the
first analogy. Then use that same sentence to complete the
other analogies.

Example sentence: The yolk and shell make up the mass of an egg.
(The rubber balloon and air make up the mass of a balloon. The fur
and stuffing make up the mass of a teddy bear …)
