Trans Canada Highway One to West Vancouver, overlooking Howe Sound,
takes you to the BC Ferries terminal.
Ferry reservations are recommended in the summer months. (BC Ferry
1-888-223-3779 or *BCF (*223) cell phone on Rogers or Telus)
Board the Langdale ferry at Horseshoe Bay. Sailing time is 40 minutes.
Once docked, immediately make your way into the left lane at the terminal,
make a left turn at the set of lights. Keep on Marine Drive and enter Gibsons
Landing, a 5 minute drive.
At Molly's Reach Restaurant, drive up for one block, past the intersection,
up the steep hill; turn left on South Fletcher Road.
South Fletcher Road turns into Gower Point road.
Drive along Gower Point Road for 5 minutes (4km). A winding road with a view.
A very deep "S" curve will lead you directly to Swallow Road (a
red/white fire hydrant on the left)
Left on Swallow, left again to Deer Fern
(Swallow Rd. printed on the power pole)
If you see "Pilling Road", you have gone one street too far.

Once you have docked at Earls Cove, stay on highway 101, past Sechelt,
until you reach the township of Gibsons. (1.15 hour drive to this point, another 5
minutes to Deer Fern)
Turn right at the first set of lights at Pratt.
(Tim Horton's,
Wendy's, IGA and the bicycle shop are at this corner)
Continue to the very end of Pratt and turn right on Gower Point Road.
(Past Grandview Road, to Gower Point Road you must turn right or left)
