Fun Facts: Our City Logo • Represents Decatur’s homes, schools and places of worship • Uses nine colors • Can only be used with permission granted by the city commission Created by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) in 2000, Georgia Cities Week is celebrated in April each year throughout the state. The theme for 2002 is “Connecting Community.” Each city designs its own programs to highlight city services and activities. This activity book is part of Decatur’s Georgia Cities Week celebration.
